Comfortable and cozy atmosphere in downtown Lawrence. We visited mid week so not very busy. We ordered the Garlic Bacon Cheese Rolls, they were delicious and probably could have been a meal itself. For our meal we tried the Margherita pizza, original crust with black olive and mushrooms, we could only eat half of the medium pizza (left overs!). Next time we’ll try their cauliflower crust. Pizza was well made and very delicious, well deserved treat for a motorcycle ride.

Came in a bit late for a bite. Got the Mac and cheese and bacon pizza with a side of cheesy stick and a good old rum and coke. Service was incredible and pizza is darn near one of the best I’ve had.

Wow, I had heard this place had some amazing pizza but my goodness, nothing could have prepared me for the Flavorsome GOURMET HAWAIIAN PIZZA that I was about to have. The crust was perfect (original pizza – recommended by the waitress – thank you). The PHILLY CHEESESTEAK SANDWICH was good, it just couldn’t live up to the in your face flavor of the Hawaiian.

After we went to get pizza at Kenos we wanted to go to was hella backed up due to a catering order. So we went to a place called Minsky’s Pizza. There was a Thursday special with a Large Papa Minsky’s pizza for $18.99 when its reguarly $22.99. It had Pepperoni, Italian sausage, salami and roasted red peppers with our sweet Minskitoni sauce. Topped with mozzarella and Romano. We also ordered a Lawernce Beer Company beer as well as a Wheat Boulevard Beer. The service was fairly slow for the whole restaurant. I’m happy I got a seat next to the kitchen because the people in front of the store, I watched it took one table over 15 minutes for someone to take their order. The pizza had the minimum amount of toppings as well. The sauce we ordered took a while to get as well. The check took a long time too. Overall it the pizza was ok but the service was quite slow.

Ok so I have to have cauliflower crust and fount Minsky’s has that. (Large size too! Most places only have one size) I see the “Cheeseburger pizza with pickles and mustard” and I’m all what the what??? I ask the server about it and he was like to judge it just give it a try, it’s our best seller. So I reply, when in Kansas right??. RIGHT! It was the weirdest yet most satisfying taste. It made my brain go… Whaaaaaa. And my taste buds to scream YES! …. I LOVED it. Thank goodness I try new things!
