My family and I loved Halo Pizzeria! The staff was so nice from the moment we walked in the door. I would highly recommend starting off with the garlic knots. They were very fresh and flavorful! You can watch your pizza being made in the big pizza oven and the crust was cooked to perfection. The leftover slices were even great the next morning for breakfast. This is a great place to bring the whole family and sit on the patio.

The pizza was heavy and and had too much cheese. The starter came last. The cheese pizza was better than the one with toppings. Prices seemed very high for what we got. The pizza had a good under carriage but I would rate it 6.1. Not worth a trip in my opinion.

I went to the Grand Opening and got these ratings I have to go back again to get official rating or it would be unfair. Overall 3 stars was solid place a lot going on that day. I didn’t like how good was being handled. But again it was free slices so there’s that. The pizza I paid for was not “NY” style pizza I don’t know why people in Texas keep claiming that… very disappointing in that but that’s neither here or there staff was good I mean just stood around mostly. But vibes in there was chill later back I suppose

Best pizza of my entire life. And I’m “seasoned” . I cannot say enough as to how good this pizza is. And even better that I did not have to travel up Preston into the hubbub of restaurants to find it. One of the owners I met super sweet friendly and very down to earth, share they all live in the neighborhood and just wanted to make good pizza convenient for everyone without the big franchise feel ..I have to say they nailed it ..This will be in my new go-to for pizza hands down. It was so good I literally forgot to take pictures and was able to take them once they were both half demolished!

Official Customer #1 – Takeout from Halo Pizzeria was a delicious success! Coming from the Northeast, it was some of the best pizza I’ve had in North Texas. I’m absolutely looking forward to future visits!

The NYC style pizza was very tasty. The miramonte meatlover had a crispy, slight chew and thin crust topped with slight charred meat and touch of tomatoes sauce. It even pass the leftover pizza test.

Hubs and I went for a lunch date today. Ordered the lunch special (me pepperoni, hubs only cheese) and I got a house salad. The darling owner (Kari) took our order, brought us our food and drinks and was delightful. The pizza was soooo good! On the thin side but with a slight crisp on the bottom, excellent melty cheese and flavorful pepperoni. The house salad had spinach, red onion, tomato, croutons, cheese and a very tasty, dilly homemade ranch that I loved. It was plenty of food and they have a “not your run of the mill” fountain drink dispenser that was fun too! (I had huckleberry soda.) Definitely going back and taking the rest of the fam! Worth noting I saw a bar in the back with beer on tap so I will investigate that at a later time!

Great NY Style Pizza…but a really loud restaurant! This pizzeria does a great job: crispy thin crust but not too hard, primo cheese (not the cheap stuff), and just enough sauce to put it all together. Ample seating inside and outside on a generous patio. Large groups can be handled. In fact, while we were there the was about a 20-person young girls soccer team a smattering of groups about the restaurant. This is where the “loud” kicked in. Even when the soccer group vacated, and maybe a dozen folks were left inside, the hard floor and glass surfaces just made the noise level LOUD!

The Neighborhood pizzeria that we needed! The feel of the restaurant was very relaxed & comfortable, while also feeling classy. There’s a lovely patio, which is dog friendly. The staff was very friendly & attentive – their focus on the quality of what they serve was apparent. Be sure to ask them to bring you a cold refreshing bottle of filtered water! It’s filtered to perfection with 6 stage filter process. Our family ordered 3 pizzas – fresh from the oven handmade dough pizza is just the best. I am vegetarian & ordered a basic half cheese/half mushroom – the mushrooms were fresh, not rubbery from a can. The crust tasted very fresh & was a nice balance of fluffy with a crunchy bottom. There’s a selection of pies names after local Frisco schools, which is such a fun community centric idea. Since our girls attended Sem, we had to try “The Sem” a sweet & savory pizza with fig jam, balsamic glaze, prosciutto, & arugula. My husband had the Meatlover’s – which he said was not greasy & did not feel heavy on his stomach after enjoying. Overall, everything from the filtered water, natural sugar soda fountain, and the pizzas were fantastic! We will definitely be back to try more of the menu items & support our neighborhood pizzeria. I am hoping for the addition of breakfast pizza someday!
