This new place finally opened up in Mt. Washington. You have a choice of eating on the Italian food side or the barbecue side. We chose BBQ. The menu has lots of different options and sides. We chose the BBQ platter for 2 and got to choose 3 sides. The meat was falling off the bone. So tender! When we have family come to visit, we’re going to take them here and save myself from cooking. The cook came out to ensure we were happy with food. We will be back.

We tried the feast for two which includes sliced brisket, roasted chicken and ribs with three sides. Everything was delicious! The house sauce is very tasty and the cornbread muffins were ever so sweet, just the way I like them.

Came in on a Sunday with my family for lunch, first thing I noticed was the menu was set-up a little weird. I ordered the pulled chicken sandwich, baked potato and a sweet tea, the chicken tasted strange and kind of gamey, the tea tasted like it was mixed with coffee, the potato was fine. My wife ordered the brisket salad, it had aluminum foil in the salad and had a lot of gristle and fat, not good at all.

Picked up carry-out for my wife and I, she wanted Italian and I wanted BBQ since the 2 restaurants operate out of one building it was a win win. She had Tri-Color Tortellini from The Black Olive which was delicious and they give you so much she always has enough leftovers she can take it for lunch the next day (Note: We always get it without peas, that’s jus). And I was still able to get BBQ, I had the Pulled BBQ Chicken Sandwich with Mac and Cheese, the chicken was juicy and tender, needless to say it hit the spot. We’ve had carryout from here a couple times and they have yet to disappoint us. Great place to eat!

The waiter was friendly but didn’t have a clue about the menu, My wife got a pulled pork salad, it was super fatty and the lettuce looked and tasted old, I tried to order ribs but was told I could only get them if I order the dinner for 2, they were available as a individual meal but only on the lunch menu which wasn’t available on a Sunday at 12:30pm, I ended up with a pulled chicken sandwich and mac and cheese, the chicken tasted really off and reminded me of something that could be done in a crockpot, the mac and cheese tasted like it came from a bag. their BBQ sauce tastes like sweet baby rays. we also both ordered sweet tea, it tasted really off almost like it had coffee or something in it. I would skip this place and had to Momma’s or Mission BBQ in Louisville.

My friend and I had to go to Louisville for an appointment. On our way back we decided to try and find a Chinese buffet. So we programmed the directions in my GPS and it took us to this place instead of the Chinese buffet. So we decided to eat here. And we’re glad we did. It was delicious. It was really expensive considering what little food we got, we could have gotten two sides instead of one for the price that we paid.
