Extensive menu with authentic Chinese dishes. The food is delicious but the number of choices may be overwhelming for those used to the generic Chinese Americanized takeout common outside the major metro areas. If you’re eating in, you might start with a familiar hunan chicken, followed by some mild spiciness with a fatty beef dry pot or hot pot dish, some sautéed greens like the bok choi, and perhaps the mapo tofu. Serve it all over your rice. This is not the kind of greasy spoon where you find fried egg rolls and chop suey and it will take you multiple visits to go through the numerous specialties. This spot is a gem in the heartland.

I really enjoy getting take out from Sichuan House. They are kind with suggestions of dishes if you want to try something different and prompt with the food. I enjoy the fried rice and noodle dishes every time I get food, they hold up as great leftovers. Every protein main dish I have tried is excellent and exactly what I am looking for when I want a solid take-out Chinese food experience. Way better than that Panda one 😉

They don’t want you to dine in. They prefer if you order takeout. We waited five minutes before we were even acknowledged in a pretty much empty restaurant. The guy let out a big sigh, saying ‘oh man you want to eat in here’.

The food was really good, and the cost was very low. The service was good, but they had in their headphones, which was a bit annoying. But very polite. The worst thing was the bathrooms. There was no soap in the dispenser, and it smelled awful, with no attempt to cover it up with perfume or something. Overall it’s good, but with a few downers.

I have never seen such a rude waiter in my entire life !!!!!!!!!! We have done nothing impolite, just kindly let him know that we are ready to order. He finally came and constanly told us that we need to pay tips in a harsh way while taking our orders!!!!!!!!! He literally said “Don’t eat here if you don’t give enough tips!!” Then we left wihout even finishing the order. WOW, I have never seensuch a rude waiter in my entire life !!!!!!!!!!

Was pretty quiet. Food was very good . Waiter though we ordered too much food for two people. We explained that we were wanting to take extra food home. He was happy because he didn’t want food to go to waste.
