Listen when I tell you my expectations were far exceeded. My son insists that we make this our go to place. Never have I ever had corn tamale and now all I want is corn tamale. Paired with the rice and beans made it even better. The pupusa was good but the corn tamale was the star. Oh and the chicken quesadilla was so good as well. The chicken was great. Corn tamale with chicken quesadilla rice and beans and plantains. Perfect meal. Plantains seemed boiled first then seared. Definitely going back!

I recently ate at Patty’s Place, a cozy Latino eatery nestled in off street by Walter Reed. The ambiance was warm and inviting that created a relaxed atmosphere. The menu offered a delightful array of classic and innovative El Salvadoran dishes. I started with carne asada one day and huevos rancheros another time for breakfast while having tires replaced nearby. The attentive staff and impeccable service added to the overall enjoyable experience. This is a fantastic little dive with reasonable price and amazing Latin meal.

Only good plate thus far is Plato tipico. Other than that. Food is not really that great. I noticed that they’re not consistent with the price for this breakfast plate

Ordered brisket and got some really big chunks of fat only. Check your food. Lady was really rude. Dude was cordial.

I have been coming to Patty’s Place since 2010. The restaurant is small but the food is well prepared with lots of love. On Saturday Mornings, I always enjoy my deliciously prepared spicy Baliadas with no sour cream 🙂 which are a must to have along with my pineapple or mango juices that go so well together.

Restaurant extraordinaire. This is my new favorite breakfast spot – baleadas mixta and baleadas con carne. Get one each. OMG. Nice people making delicious food.

A little bit pricey for such a hole in the wall, but the food is amazing. All their hot and ready food is delicious, and haven’t ordered anything from the menu yet that I haven’t liked.Incredibly friendly and welcoming service. Will eat there every time my car needs work done in the area

Small shop with some good food. I wouldn’t say this is Mexican food, but it’s definitely Latin type food. the prices are more than i’d like to spend on a lunch, but it was filling. I had the Carne asada burrito, but their beef stew looked better.
