Best southern food and value for miles! It is simple, clean, tasty home cooking that will fill you up. Meat, vegetables, salad bar, and drink for only $14 at the time we went. Note to cook: Please hold back on the liquid smoke (not sure exactly what it is) in the peas and beans as it takes over. You can smell the strong hickory flavoring when you go up to the veggie bar. Everything else was spot on. I can see where the chicken breasts may dry out a little under the lights. I had dark meat and a small piece of breast. It was just put out and was perfect. This was our first time here. We cook a lot at home and are picky where we go out. This will definitely be a place we come back to when we do not want to cook.

The food was very good. The hot wings had a great flavor and were kind of on the mild to medium heat. The fried chicken was really good. We’ll be going back to try some of the other foods that we couldn’t get to because we got full too quickly. Lol

Was kicked out for having a service dog just now but have been several times with him before. So if you have a service dog don’t go here cause they will tell you to leave. I love how the comeback is we refused information. You can’t tell me I have to call the health department. Then try to make me look bad for not calling when I already know the law. But that’s ok cause you don’t have to worry about us anymore. Just figured I’d warn future guests about it.

Pricing was ok, clean facility, friendly staff, great amount of seating and the food was good. Rutabaga, black eye peas, green beans, spaghetti, ribs, fried chicken, corn muffins…they all got a 5 star! The sweet tea could have used a little more tea flavor and the desserts had a ton of sweetness in them. The salad bar had plenty of topping options to choose from as well.

The chicken was very dry and old. When I asked for fresh chicken the waiter stated that whatever they put out is all they’re going to put out. I’m very disappointed as this used to be a good restaurant I will not be back.

We had the buffet and the food on it on a I guess I’m not for sure to see it was a Wednesday or Thursday Thursday and it was amazing chicken meatloaf mashed potatoes the cream corn was amazing and of course salads and they had a ton of desserts I would have to say that the lemonade pie was the most greatest that I have ever tasted. The waitress came around one time and gave us a drinks I actually had to go and fill my husband’s a drink up myself That’s the only thing that I have to say that might be bad about it and maybe she was just herself just working by herself and she was very busy I don’t know.
