The place is small but great for small or big groups. Not that much parking though. The food was so so. I got the lunch special; big portion for reasonable price. I also ordered the chicken dumplings they were good but seemed a bit over priced $7 (though those were 1st. Dumplings so i cant compare them to something else).

I had the sizzling Bulgogi plate and it was fairy good. The meat was lean and crispy from the caramelization of the hot plate along with the tasty onion and cabbage. The service was also very friendly and she even offered me kimchi and pickled radish (traditional Korean BBQ sides – I grew up as a kid in Seoul Korea). Would go again and recommend to others

This Chinese was the WORST ive EVER tasted in my LIFE. My 7 yr old daughter was dissatisfied as well. The chicken had NO flavor, neither did the noodles. I will NEVER go back, the only plus was the woman at the front was very nice.

We’ve never had a huge problem with this restaurant until this evening. We ordered the crab rangoon, wontons, and chicken chow mein for take out. Went to pick it up, and unfortunately the crab rangoon was completely overpriced for 5 measly bites. There was hardly any chicken in the chow mein and the wontons weren’t wontons. They were wonton wrappers just cut into 2×2 squares and lightly fried. The service was absolutely horrendous. If you want a good chinese place, GO TO JIMS CHINESE off Del Monte.

I actually go for the Korean noodle dish, “Jajang-myun”. In an area that doesn’t have this dish in other Korean restaurants, it is a blessing to have this dish done rather authentically here in Monterey. You can choose either beef or seafood. The black bean paste sauce has a nice balance of vegetables and meat. Order this with the traditional pairing of tang-seek, fried beef (or pork , your choice), also well done. Nice to not have to go to San Jose to find this Korean specialty!!

Food was bland and flavorless! When i want to take a bite of my “lobster sauce shrimp” i got a mouth full of gritty sand! I lost my appetite after that and didnt finish my food!

There is something awesome about Chinese food made by Korean people. The bulgogi is as good as any Korean food place and they have the best fried rice I have ever had.

Now called The Lucky Bamboo, this place didn’t look like much from the outside but the food was fresh & delicious. Also the staff was very friendly and the service was fast.

We stopped here on our way to Monterrey and had lunch over there. The soup and lunch menu was very good, specially the roast duck was really tasty.

The food was so so at best. I didn’t really care for it. The place is small and seems a little run down. The prices are definitely reasonable.
