A great place to get a meal if your in the Greentown or Newfoundland area. I’ve been going to this place for years. A few years ago, it changed hands and the name. New owners are continuing the tradition and creating a fantastic ice cream and lunch spot. Sandwiches are delicious and filling! The prices are also reasonable.

Asked for German chocolate and cherry. They didn’t have cherry. Okay raspberry. They’re out of raspberry. They had strawberry so I took that ¯_(ツ)_/¯. For toppings I asked for granola. They’re out (fine understandable who doesn’t love granola). How about graham crackers? Nope. Finally I just asked for whipped cream and some cherries. They forgot to give me my change. When we got the ice cream, more than half the cup was just whipped cream, and there wasn’t even any chocolate in it!

The food is great if you are a fan of excellent burgers and fries, and the typical American menu. The servers are sometimes warm and friendly, as long as it isn’t near closing, and the atmosphere is quiet, serene, and overall quite pleasant, though, their seating booths leave something to be desired. I highly recommend grabbing a milkshake with your meal.
