I have no idea how this place doesn’t have 500 5-star reviews. The food was AMAZING AND it came out so fast.

If the food served here is how it should taste in South Korea, I am absolutely jealous and enamored. Ko Hyang is immediately on my ‘death row’ meal list of places to eat. It’s just the quality and freshness of absolute Korean classics that makes all haute, modern, or Michelin ratings rediculously superfluous. We’ve had the same dishes and soups at asian supermarkets and restaurants, but it feels all of them use day old ingredients – but not Ko Hyang. The second most major factor is the returning clientele and many quietly waiting for a seat to open way after main rush hours – this factor absolutely speaks for itself!

One of the top authentic Korean restaurant in DMV! Would recommend to anyone who wants to try Korean food. Pictures are after we started eating. Had to put aside meat from soup bowl just to eat.

Ko Hyang is a Korean culinary gem! Their gamjatang is unrivaled – a true masterpiece that tantalizes the taste buds. The broth’s impeccable blend of rich flavors and subtle spiciness complements the tender pork, potatoes exquisitely. Ko Hyang’s commitment to authenticity shines through in each dish, encapsulating the very essence of Korean cuisine. For a fan of gamjatang like me, this establishment is an absolute haven.

A very solid K-restaurant. We have been eating here as long as I can remember. Soondae, jokbal, kimchi and most soup dishes are good. The restaurant hours has been reduced since the pandemic. Take out portions are good; we get 2 meals out of each take out order.

The food was delicious and the delicious side dishes. Yummy soul food. I usually eat bone cabbage soup. Perfect amount of spiciness and full of flavor. Kimchi and radish kimchi were delicious.
