I have visited this Taco Bell several times and although it is attached to a gas station, it is typical of other Taco Bell restaurants. They have all of the items you would find at standalone restaurants and even have a drive-thru. The staff has always been friendly and rather fast and it is in a convenient location if you need other things. For fast food Tex-Mex, it isn’t a bad spot.

Food is almost always good. Nice place in Brookland to ait and eat. Service is usually great, but last time, there was a hygiene issue, and the young man took great offense to being called out on it. Managers, get out of the office and train your people in more than just slapping beans in a tortilla.

Always busy. Little slow on the service but when you get the food … you tend to forget about the wait. Excellent chicken. EXCELLENT!!! And the “Sweet Potato Pie” is the best. Don’t miss it.

I’m not sure if the night crew is nonexistent, stoned out of their minds, or just incompetent, but if this is how things are done here they really just need to pack it up and shut it down. There’s absolutely NO reason why anywhere else can handle the business except this one particular store. If they do take your order a) you’re lucky, b) you’re gonna wait at least an additional 15 minutes to the 30 you’ve probably already waited in line just to get to the speaker, and c) you probably won’t get what you ordered. Then who wants to deal with trying to get thru that line again after already having been there 45 minutes?!

Calling any taco bell food is a stretch. The brookland location takes that up a notch as they are often out of core ingredients (even beef once). The last 3 times I’ve been they forgot to serve at least one item from my order, after multiple conversations and time wasted I finally got my missing item and it was wrong. Management definitely isn’t managing here as kids are always running around, talking to their friends in the lobby and vaping in the lobby.
