The recipe for our famous roast beef sandwich is simple: 100% real top round beef. Slow roasted on-site for three hours. Shaved extra thin. Served medium rare on a lightly toasted buttered bun. And topped with a dash of secret seasoning. It’s the same way we’ve done it for over 50 years. As real as it gets.
Counter-serve chain specializing in slow-roasted beef sandwiches served hot on toasted buns. Based on 506 reviews, the restaurant has received a rating of 4.2 stars. Price $

Upscale fast food with gluten friendly options. Such a pleasant surprise to find they offer gluten free buns and even a crispy gluten free sandwich! Super friendly staff as well. Definitely one of the better fast food options.

Though the South County location is closer, this location is worth the trip! This is my favorite location because the employees are always professional and friendly. I have never received an incorrect order. Katie, Lenora, Gage and Jeff ensure you receive your order promptly. Every inside visit the interior has always been clean..

Flavorless, cold mush that this location is calling roast beef. Fries not crispy. My favorite thing about this experience though, the sugar Cookie wasn’t even fully cooked. Every single part of my meal wasn’t cooked enough.

Told to go for roast beef. Husband ordered fire chickens sandwich. I got the beef. Maybe I don’t eat Arby’s enough to compare but hit home for a fast food sandwich. But if I order a gluten free bun and PAY FOR THAT UPGRADE, EMPLOYEES DONT QUESTION IF I HAVE AN ALLERY. I don’t have to give anyone a reason, the bun comes in a plastic bag and the beef separate; why that question? Just not needed. Otherwise a decent experience with a chain restaurant.

When driving through St Louis or Kansas City, this is one of my all time stops. You can get your “real” roast beef rare, medium or well. The au jus and horseradish sauce are the best!

I always plan my meal stop around a Lion’s Choice visit when traveling through (or to) the Saint Louis area. Their roast beef offering is far superior to the national chain competition.

We did drive-up, and our order was handled efficiently and perfectly after we ordered via the app and b/c of rewards wound up saving approximately $15 on our order!!! We LOVE that a place we LOVE has an amazing rewards program AND gluten-free food that is a winner winner fried chicken dinner with our ENTIRE family!

I’ve been going to Lions Choice for decades. It was always the best fast food meal in town. This evening, my wife picked up dinner here. It was possibly the worst fast food we’ve ever gotten. Order was for 2 king size RB with swiss, one large FF and a large drink. The sandwiches were normal sized instead of king, no cheese, and the beef was overcooked, cold and dry. (I added my own cheese) The french fries were not only cold, they were also dry and kind of hard, like they’d been under a heat lamp for hours. I have never gotten worse food, and the order wasn’t even correct. You would think that since everybody was patronizing these places during the pandemic, the food would be top notch. Sadly, the opposite seems to be the case. Never going back to this restaurant.

Love this place but the price increases are just ridiculous. And no longer on the upside app either. Lose lose situation. Come on lions choice! Do better!

The lady helping in back was filling fries and then picking them up from the top with her hands all over the fries with no gloves on. I don’t care who you are or if you’re helping out for 3 minutes. Put some gloves on. Ew.
