It used to be my favorite sushi place but things have changed. I used to get food there once a week but not coming back there anymore. I called in for order like I normally would and ordered the same rolls I always order but I was charged way more than I used to. I mean I understand that food prices had gone up but not that much. I was charged $5 more for the same roll I always ordered. On top of it they didn’t put cream cheese in JB roll. I paid $45 for nothing. Left a tip like always but never coming back. That’s horrible business! So disappointed

My experience with Mikado is excellent. My fiancé and I just went and really enjoyed the food and chatting with the owner, Kathy. She was very kind and introduced us to Thai Iced Tea and Coffee, it was delicious! Our sushi was wonderful and the lunch specials were reasonably priced and very flavorful. We will definitely be returning.

My time at Mikado was amazing! My first time having authentic Japanese food I highly recommend this restaurant awesome atmosphere and service thank you Kathy your Japanese pancake and everything you made was delicious thanks for adding chicken. I ate here this week and was pleasantly surprised. The sushi was really quite good. The service was excellent and the waitress was very helpful in explaining the various sushi rolls. There is plenty of dishes to choose from, and I’d eat here again.

Best sushi I’ve ever had. Our of town and many sushi places around but took a chance on this. Paid off. FANTASTIC. Super nice staff. Also I’m not big on rice but this rice taste great. To top it off… the water is not tap water. I love it !

This cute little place only holds about 40 patrons. The atmosphere isn’t really traditional Japanese or anything, but it’s quaint and welcoming. All the employees were super nice and accommodating. I ordered my roll to go and it was made fresh on the spot and took about 10 mins. Pictured is my “sexy eel lovers” (or similar name) roll. It has a bit of a kick with some jalapeno, and the cilantro is a great touch and kicks in right at the end. This roll is one of the better eel-specific rolls I’ve had over the years. The seaweed salad was good; at the very least, it was equivalent to all others I’ve tried before. Prices are reasonable. I would frequent if I lived in the area for sure. Thank you, Mikado, for a delicious, healthy, quick meal!

I went today with my husband for the first time to lunch at Mikado and the food was terrible! We ordered 2 fried rice and was the worst plate of my life. Also we ordered shrimp tempura and was bad! Extremely greasy. Do not go to this restaurant.
