Too expensive. The bulgogi was good. The fried shrimp were good. The shrimp pancake was just okay. This place is off in NE DC and next to a liquor store. I can see that if I lived near here, I would come here for a Korean fix. But otherwise, this place is too pricey for what it is.

Just tried Manna Korean for the first time. It was within walking distance of my home and I’ve been meaning to try it for a while.

We ordered spicy pork and chicken cutlet and it tasted authentic (you know that when you see grilled/cooked kimchi on the menu – it is so good.) and generous portion for the cost. The owner was also exceptional kind and kitchen staff ladies were super nice also. One of the best meals we had in DC regardless of price – you can tell everything is freshly made and served, great food no fuss! It’s a small place and may feel hot during warmer days.

Food itself was good. Not spectacular, but priced well for the value. The portion sizes are great, and the service was really friendly. I did however buy 2 bottle of sodas and both were expired. One was expired by a couple days and it was completely fine, the other was expired by 6 months. I’m guilty as not checking best buy dates on stuff, but I had to look after taking 1 sip. Check the date on your drink before walking out the door. Overall the food was good though, and water never hurts to drink anyways.

Reasonably priced with generous portions. Nice simple menu. I got the Manna Box with Japchae and 2 sides. It was so delicious! Some of the best kimchi I’ve had. Great place for takeout or delivery. They a counter with 4 stools if you want to dine in.

Mom and pop shop. It’s so good. Kim chi made right and spicy. It has a little crunch and it’s not soggy. More of a take out then dine in however there are a few chairs in the store. 10/10 would recommend.

A surprise find in the neighborhood. I ordered bulgogi (beef) dosirak with japchae and yellow corn and cheese. They were tasty. I will come back again when I come by this way.

It’s rare to go in with pretty high expectations and have them surpassed but this food was amazing. Loved the slight sweetness of the steak in the manna dosirak, really well cooked. The pork dosirak was really crispy and crunchy on the outside but tender inside. Loved the shrimp, corn cheese, sweet potato noodles…everything!

I ordered 2 manna boxes one with shrimp&white rice and one with beef bulgogi & white rice which was extremely tasty. The sides were also amazing, I had corn and cheese, kimchi carrots, marinated cucumbers, with rice and kimchi broccoli. I was also happy that they had SagSag Korean juices; I had the pear, grape and orange. The owners were also very kind and fast with the service. Hands down this has got to be one of the best Korean BBQ spots I’ve had in the DMV and really a hidden gem in the hood.

Cost 4 quantity 4 quality 3. The chicken was over cooked. Good choices. This is a true hole in the wall. Takeout mostly. All electronic ordering so no interaction with servers. But worth a visit. Filling good food. I’d go back
