I went to the University of Houston together with the owner (Aby). I found out about the place through an email from the university. I got my bachelor’s at U of H (class of 2023) Abby is a graduate student going for her masters. She is a very experienced ceramicist and sculptor. I’m an intermediate I’d say, I’m still working on perfecting my throwing. This place just opened this day as I’m writing ✍️ this. This is a very great place for ceramics with affordable prices. Cheap clay too. Come on over and check it out!

This has been our go to Mexican food restaurant for a while and I’ve never written a review. However, they deserve a 5 star rating because its an important neighborhood staple. Quality food, reasonable pricing, and it’s very consistent the food tastes just as good each day. Also, they pack up to-go food probably better than any other restaurant I pick up at, especially if you get a large order for a party they make it easy to carry out.

This is one of our new favorite Mexican places. The food is great, especially the queso and salsa, and the fajitas. I personally love the fish tacos. The atmosphere is quite enough to have a nice conversation. We will certainly be back!

This is my new favorite Tex-Mex place in the NW Houston area!! We used to love going to Los Cucos, but they aren’t as good as they used to be. Pappasito’s raised their prices and now doesn’t seem as worth it. We came here to El Chaparro and were blown away by the service, food quality, and just overall experience. The nachos were awesome, the chips and salsa were also amazing, and our waiter was super friendly and helpful. We’ll be coming back here every time we visit Houston!

I love this place. I don’t usually try different things on a menu unless I get recommendations, but I have tried several things on this menu, and they are all delicious. Their craft drinks are also great! If you swing by, you will not regret it. Definitely reccomend the fajita, chile relleno w/ beef fajita, stuff Avocado, and enchiladas.
