Excited that they’re open everyday now! But on our last visit on 8/22 our food was off. The pad Thai was dry in some places & the tofu was unseasoned and a bit sour. I couldn’t even finish it – which has never been a problem before. The pad see ew was burnt and although we like charred it was inedible.

The Picnic park has a nice vibe and the food at Coat and Thai was awesome! Service was quick and polite. I ordered the N2 with chicken and it has just the right amount of spices/heat. It was delicious.. Definitely will be returning

I ordered the basil fried rice with tofu. I paid $15 for onion fried rice. Photo was taken after I ate what little tofu and veg there was (other than the onions).

Good price for a ton of good food. Got the basil chicken with rice, and the guy made it actually spicy. I couldn’t even finish half of what they gave me, which is unbelievably rare. They have spice powder on the side too, like any authentic Thai restaurant should. Parking wasn’t bad. Because it’s a food truck, you gotta eat outside on the bench in the sun unless you’re taking it to go.

Wow! It’s true this is the best pad thai I’ve had in while! Definitely the best I’ve had in Austin! I ordered chicken pad thai and crab rangoons. Both were exceptional. If you like great pad thai this place should scratch your itch. So curious what else is delicious here??

Great tasting thai food. And quantity per dish is better than most restaurants. So good portions. We got pad Thai with tofu and no eggs. They kept peanuts separately so that it can remain crunchy when we put it on top when we eat. That’s so thoughtful. We also got pineapple fried rice which almost tasted like Indian style fried rice but with pineapples so that was delicious as well. Amazing plus point – we got our order ready within just few minutes like barely 5 minutes and it was fresh , hot and delicious. Thai tea was good too. Overall good food for money.

Pad Thai Chicken tasted good, but not much chicken included. The portion size was okay, but not huge like a normal Thai Restaurant.

Best value Thai food in Austin, in my opinion. The portions are amazing and the food is flavored extremely well. They have all the classic Thai dishes: we got the Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mao, and Pad See Ew, as well as the Crab Ran Goons. Everything is delicious, and more so each dish has a distinct taste from one another, so it doesn’t all taste the same. It’s a very busy food truck, but they still manage to get their food out fast! Great service and I highly recommend for authentic, reasonably priced Thai cuisine.

I had a great time here. Portions were satisfying, flavors were great. American style Thai food but definitely still yummy. Definitely would get the shrimp over chicken pad Thai. Spent about 24 dollars for 2 appetizers and an entree
