Whenever I order from GrubHub from this restaurant, something is either missing or completely wrong from what I ordered despite receiving the correct ticket at delivery. I called after receiving the order to see about coming to pick up the missing item, but the response over the phone was not helpful. This is absolutely ridiculous, especially spending just $50 alone on the food, not including the delivery fee.

I had ordered several times from this place and the acai bowl never came so I decided to go in person to try it. The man at the counter was very rude, impatient, and lacked self awareness. I made it very clear I wanted a custom bowl. He looked away, and talked to me while facing the wall. His accent was very thick but I understood that he was trying to point out the “traditional bowl” to me but I cannot eat grain so I insisted on my choice. He gave me an angry look, said I didn’t understand him and he repeated the entire thing, speaking at a wall while I was behind him, music blaring trying to force me to order what he wanted me to. After doing this several times I lost my patience bought the damn bowl i didn’t want and am never coming back. If I ever try Salgabom again it’ll be Park ave no doubt.

This place is very good, super friendly, and they have many options to choose from! I called in and ordered a beef and cheese empanada and mini Coxinhas. When I arrived they notified me that there were no beef and cheese empanadas left, I was a little disappointed but just got normal beef and it was still absolutely delicious and full of flavor! The mini coxinhas were okay, I have had better ones in Marlborough, but they still tasted yummy. I’ll give them a 4/5 stars because overall they deserve a good score. I can’t wait to come back and try their açaí bowls!
