Love the bento box combo! I get noodles with beef teriyaki with extra sauce. Super yummy! On the box you also get a small garden salad, 3 dumplings, and 4 pieces California roll. Everything is fresh and delicious – cooked fresh to order. Be sure and ask for some sriracha to dip your dumplings in!

Got beef teriyakiwith white rice. The beef was fine, more of a salty teriyaki than sweet teriyaki. The rice howeverwas oddly chewy, and I did not like the taste of the dumplings. Service was good, was quick and friendly.

If I was getting the electric chair the chicken teriyaki platter would certainly be my last meal. I’ve been eating Sarku since I discovered it back in 2002 in a mall food court back in North Carolina. Their spring rolls are an addiction also! I always opt for the double chicken, half rice and half veggies (the veggies are so good) and an extra scoop of teriyaki Sauce. It’s a huge heavy platter but for $11 or so dollars you can save half and warm it up for lunch the next day. It holds very well overnight in the fridge and tastes just as good the next day!

Probably one of the most unprofessional staff I’ve ever witnessed. I picked up food here tonight and watched 3 different teenage employees stand around talk to one another while yelling curse words and threatening to quit. If they even worked there or not was confusing because they were all dressed in street clothes. The only reason I knew they were employees was because they kept going behind the counter to look in the safe under the register. I have never left a review of a restaurant but felt I had to make this one the exception because my jaw is still on the floor.

If you a teriyaki lover this is a great place. The sushi is not a bad option either. Overall the food is great and the price is reasonable. The only bad thing is that the lady at the registered has no patience whatsoever and is very rude.

Went in today and ordered a chicken bento box and it was absolutely awful. The salad was sour and browning, the sushi was old, the dumplings were cold, and the white rice was crunchy. To top everything off the water tasted funny like they haven’t clean the soda nozzles out of the fountain in awhile. I’m not the type of person to write reviews good or bad, but I had to leave one after today. Wish I could give it 0/5 stars

I was visiting my son who lives in the area and he suggested Sarku. I ordered the Chicken Teriyaki with steamed rice and mixed vegetables. Very, very tasty and there was a lot of food. When I visit again in the future Sarku will be on my list of places for lunch.

Their hours say they open at 11am, I came in to order food at 11:01am on my break for work and the rude guy that works the front cashier tells me their not open. I said it’s past 11am … he said give him 20min, 20min?!… in 20min my break would almost be over…. very disappointing that he acted like he couldn’t take my order… the cooks were ready the only one who wasn’t ready was the front cashier, sweeping the dining area like he couldn’t pause and take my order…. I am a black man and I hope my race had nothing to do with the way I was treated. Never going back tho, rather spend money elsewhere. This happened a the Windward Pkwy location, didn’t get his name I jus left…
