Chicken and pork rib BBQ was pretty good. Some of it was a little on the dry side, but otherwise tastey. I loved that steamed broccoli was available as a side. The black beans had a nice almost sweet flavor. The service atmosphere were good if not a little rushed.

Was driving by and saw this place, decided to turn around and explore. Portuguese BBQ. I love the place up in Newark, but this didn’t really do much for me. It is definitely not a quick place and it is very expensive for lunch. It would be nice if they had more sampler type of meals for folks who aren’t up to speed on Portuguese Food. I had the steak. It was fine. The fries tasted like crisco or shortening. The rice was from a mix (or so it seemed). Just not very exciting. The Orange Soda was the most exciting thing about the meal. And it was very good. I would go back just for that.

Always a great meal here! Love the chicken combo with either the steak (perfectly done as ordered), pork ribs or shrimp. We always get it with the rice and black beans. Owner is super nice and welcoming. I have bought trays of food from here when I have a large crowd and it never disappoints!

The best barbecue place i have ever been to in my life and i mean it. Love the food. Everything on the menu is a delight and specially the chorizo. The owner is a super friendly guy and he makes sure that you feel home. Been going to this place since 5 years now and it never disappointed not even for once. If you’re doing a takeout, try the meat platter, its just justice done right for the money you spent. They do have BYOB which is a plus. And their flan is a must try after dinner.

My husband and I arrived about 1/2 hour before closing, limited menu which is to be understood but I got the steak and eggs, my husband got the pork ribs. Food was out of this world .So delicious. The staff were very accommodating and apologetic that menu was limited and they ran out of bread .We started with the chicken soup. Delicious homemade. Will definitely come here again but a little earlier next time

We love it. Best ribs and chicken in the Valley. Huge potions. BYOB makes it fun and economical. Just added:. Second time in a couple months the chef was leaving 2 hours before closing even though we called ahead.

This was a good place to eat with reasonable prices & good quality food , then they relocated to main st Freemanburg & it went down hill from there .. A combo was $20 & now it’s $33 Not to mention the shrimp in garlic sauce appetizer was $10 & now it’s $18.. The French fries were like eating crunchy potato chips ..
