I had chipotle in Janesville a week ago and it was good so I decided to order some from Madison southsid location. I receive stale chips over cooked tortilla and I’m missing my beans. Not to mention 1/2 of my quesadilla only had two pieces of meat on it.

The chicken was cooked to Chipotle perfection, an unfortunate rarity these days at the many different Chipotle’s I’ve been to. Whoever the cook is here should be teaching the cooks at the surrounding Chipotle’s how it’s done. Four stars because the staff could’ve been friendlier, no smiles or pleasantries and a rude eye roll for asking for fajitas, not really sure what warranted that.

Despite already liking Chipotle across the board, I think that this location is absolutely exceptional. The food tasted really good, no order (whether online or in person) ever gets messed up, the location is ideal and near the lake. Most importantly though, the staff at this location are particularly friendly, competent, and nice.

Food was great. Portions were a lot less than I am used to when at other Chipotles that we frequent. We wanted to use our free entre that we had earned through rewards on the app on the most expensive meal we purchased (mine) and asked to have that on a separate transaction. Not only did the cashier not listen and applied it to the least expensive meal, he didn’t seem to care or make it right. It’s probably the biggest and nicest Chipotle I have been too, so aside from the rewards fiasco, and the smaller portions it’s ok.
