Stopped for McDonald’s but walked through Chester’s to use the restroom. Antoine and the staff were very friendly and inviting so I stopped to get a few things. I hardly get chicken from gas stations because it’s hardly fresh, BUT this was the Lord’s tenders!! They were crispy and juicy! Even the wedges were cooked to perfection! I may have to stop there every time I’m in the area!

I stopped in yesterday ordered 2 3 piece chicken 3 thighs and thigh wing drumstick combo meals. Before I going to why I’m giving this Chester’s a low review, I’m a fan of Chester’s. I got my orders, got in my truck and headed west to Mississippi. As I opened my order the food look ok but the chicken was fried so hard you could not bite through the skin itself. If my time was not conservative I would have brought it back but unfortunately I couldn’t. SO IM GIVING YOU YOUNG FELLAS ON THE AFTERNOON SHIFT A LOW RATING. DO BETTER

Obviously there is training going on during my visit I ordered my food and the young lady who was ringing me up actually didn’t know how to wring it up. So the girl training her was basically rude to her and kind of snapping at her. So the girl asked if I needed any sauces and I said yes ketchup and hot sauce and she grabbed about four or five ketchups and the trainer told her that that was too much ketchup “she only has one potato wedge and she doesn’t need more than two”. As the trainee was putting some of the ketchup back and getting the hot sauce a packet of the hot sauce in her hand fell to the floor and she picked it up to give it to me and I said don’t give me that that’s disgusting. From that point both of them just scowled at me and didn’t say another word. After I paid the young lady gave me my change back she did drop a penny and when she dropped it she said she was sorry I put it in the little change vessel that they collect from and asked if they had napkins and the trainer looked at me and pointed over to the side into the loves gas station. I took my things and left. Absolutely rude! Will give another review on the food after I eat it won’t taste as good since the experience was negative.

Chicken is delicious, and I love potato wedges. The chicken tenders are really big and delicious. Prices are reasonable. Service is quick, and the staff is courteous. Restaurant could be sanitized more often and kept cleaner than what it was during my visit.

The food was it’s usual mediocre, the staff seemed bothered by customers. Just not positively impressed. There was a guy sleeping in the corner booth and another just loitering. Nothing to see here, won’t be back.

The place is technically a good place with good food, but they need to find some employees that will stay their and have food ready. Sometimes during rush hour you can go their and no food will be ready and than have to wait maybe 10 to 20 mins for your food. The wedges is what kept me coming back for a little while but they need to find employees that stay their and actually want to work their unlike some of the more rude ones that have worked their.

Absolutely phenomenal customer service, food and ambience. One standout from my experience there was an amazing worker named Kayla. Everyone there was A1 but her personality, speed and customer service really stood out. I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.
