Sushi Zono is a family-owned Japanese restaurant and sushi bar, located outside of downtown Campbell. The restaurant has been around for over 30 years and has seen many positive reviews from critics.
Haru Takeda, owner and head chef, has experience in sushi well over 25 years. It is this devotion to the art of sushi that results in fresh, beautifully cut fish that is without peer in the area. Eibo Takeda, son of the owner, has also taken into the dream and is currently working as sushi chef at Sushi Zono.
Sushi Zono offers great service and food. We recommend you try the unique appetizers only found at this restaurant as well as the freshest fish found in the area.

Brought the extended family here. They put out a spread that you would not believe the food is so delicious. All the fish is fresh. The teriyaki chicken and the steak are perfect. The pot stickers all the Appetizers is nothing on this menu that you cannot order and be completely satisfied with.

Food is too slow, and too salty. Service is slow, we sat for 40 mins and only got the salad served. The salad feels like just out of the fridge. Never being to a Japanese restaurant so bad as this. I regret coming to this place in a Valentine’s Day night, aweful!

Fresh sashimi!!! When the fish is fresh, everything else is amazing. Best sushi I have had in over a year. Definitely the best sushi I on the west side of the valley. Don’t let the exterior view fool you. Come in and enjoy!!!

Not sure what happened (during pandemic?) but after 2020, this restaurant is like a totally different business now and not in a good way. With a not too friendly or attentive service and a menu that’s a step down (if you ask me) comparing it to what I used to eat there.

When I moved here 20 years ago, I needed a good sushi place to make me feel at home—this was it and has remained *my* go-to. When I was pregnant, I ate here at least once a week and then my daughter loved it as well. Their food never lost quality. Their prices remained comparable. The service has always been friendly and welcoming. Cannot say enough.

Our go to Japanese restaurant in the Campbell area. Locally owned with friendly service and fresh fish. It’s relatively small but we’ve never had a problem getting a table. Plan ahead for take out as they do sometimes take upwards of 45 minutes to prepare your order on busy nights.

I’m so grateful that Sushi Zono is still here! So many small restaurants have not been able to weather the pandemic! They have great quality compared to some places that may charge a dollar or two less and are worth our local support. My daughter and I had a nice dinner of Sushi and Udon for two on a Saturday and it was so quiet. I will take my money to Sushi Zono any day! Vegas Roll Rules!
