The food is is great, first of all. I had the brisket and pulled pork, the brisket is so tender, a little peppery but not too much. The proportions are good. The pulled pork is also amazing. It was extremely tender, pretty flavorful, and the proportions were good. My only complaint was that the Mac n cheese did not have much flavour, it wasn’t inherently bad but there is a lot of room for improvement. We got a family platter, which is pretty expensive, I can’t lie. I’m not sure it was fully worth it compared to other options but I would absolutely go on my own. have family that works here and have heard the environment is very friendly and a great place to eat in, even though I have only had take out. All of their sauces are pretty good, and it is generally a great place to go in Erie for good barbecue. I would choose this over most joints in a heartbeat, and I recommend you do as well. Also, if you get take out or delivery, the silverware packets have a coupon for a free pulled pork sandwich inside, so keep them :). Good job!

I tried Dickeys a year or so ago and didn’t have the best food//My lady and I were heading to Harbor freight for some camping supplies and decided to give it another shot..We met Jeff who is the manager and he was in great spirits and was joking with the main cook//definitely sent good vibes…We shared some ribs and they were excellent. They were very tender but not overcooked and mushy like many places make “”fall off the bone”” ribs. The meat actuall still had some life to it..I believe the only thing missing was some good music to provide a lively atmosphere. It was comfortable but sleepy feeling. Everything was very clean.

I ordered to go and everyone was so helpful. Im on crutches and they not only took my order over the phone, came out got my card, and then brought the card and the food out to me, they also came out a second time to ask if I wanted a different drink due to the hi-c looking watery and with a smile and attitude free. That is going above and beyond for their customers and it was a great team of people I appreciate the kindness bc that’s not something you see much of anymore!

We’ve been ordering from here for years but seems like things are going downhill…food is still good but they eliminated a lot of their menu. Maybe it’s bad luck but the past few times we’ve ordered there is a sign up that they are closing early…of the 5 meats they still have on their menu they are consistently out of 2 or 3 or them…and out of sides…before 5 o’clock. It’s a shame.

My wife and I decided to grab lunch for the first time ever from Dickey’s because she loves BBQ, so we decided to give it a try. We walked in just around 11:10 am, and the floor and tables looked as if they had not been cleaned from the night before, which is crazy to me. There was legit old food on the floor all around the entire restaurant. So we goto order and the kid tells us they didn’t turn the fryers on yet so we can’t get fries???? Like what? How are you open and expect people to pay full price when u can’t give them a full meal??? If your restaurant is open, it should be clean and ready for business. The cashier was polite, and the meat on the sandwich wasn’t bad but kinda small. Based on the cleanliness of the restaurant and the restaurant not being able to serve the entire menu we will not be back.

Very friendly staff and the best chicken breast sandwich I’ve ever had, extremely moist. I’m not usually a fan of coleslaw but this was particularly good. This is probably obvious, but there are no vegetarian main dishes that I could see at the time I was there.

I always come in for the Frito pie and well they did not have Fritos so I asked for a baker potato and they didn’t have those either. So settle for a sandwich and couldn’t even get onion for it. I love Dickies but was very disappointed today…

Food was absolutely wonderful, coleslaw is refreshingly well done compared to so many bbq joints. Nacho sausage was a wonderful spin, and very good! Pulled pork and ribs we’re also very tasty. I would normally rate the food itself as 4 stars, but the customer service was absolutely above and beyond and fantastic. We didn’t catch her name, but thank you for helping to reinforce such a wonderful life message immediately! We will definitely stop again if we’re ever in the area!

I love eating at different BBQ restaurants whenever I am on vacation. Dickey’s is by far my favorite. Meat was tender and had excellent flavor. Great customer service as well. Would recommend to anyone who loves BBQ.
