Loved it. Such a cute little Italian restaurant! Great food, beautiful building, the best staff, good prices, and the fastest I have ever had food served! Wish we lived closer!!

Updating my original review after calling the restaurant. After a 10 minute conversation we received a genuine apology and invitation to return.

The place is historic and the atmosphere at the macro level excellent. The staff was attentive and professional. The hostess gave us a history lesson on the building, so that part is 5 stars. However they were out of ravioli, the table top was cracked, out of lids for the to-go cups, glasses were cheap plastic…3 stars. The food on hand was good, not great but good…4 stars.

We ate here twice because it was difficult to find a place that could accommodate a gluten free diet. Bistro Rialto did the job deliciously. They offer gluten free pastas as well as risotto. They even had a gluten free/vegan cheesecake! The Pasta Caribbean was fantastic. What really shone, though was the service. Our servers were genuinely friendly and helpful and worked hard to please us. My only regret is that we live too far away to become regulars.

Stopped in for some fantastic pasta. The staff is excellent, the food is excellent, and the pricing is better than fair. I would recommend this establishment for all types of food occasions and will definitely be stopping to eat again. Two thumbs up, five stars, and every other great thing I can come up with.

Nice Italian restaurant located in an old theater. He had spaghetti and sausage. I had chicken marsala with risotto and roasted veggies. Both quite good, as was the service. We drank a glass of wine and it was pretty good. Shared an excellent green salad.

What a fun little hidden gem. We only ended up stopping in this town because both kids were crying and we had another 2 hours to drive. I’m so glad we did! The service was excellent, the lasagna was delicious, and we had a really fun time.

We moved to the Alamosa area less than a year ago, right after traveling to Italy, which we really enjoyed. I was very surprised to find a quaint, well run, Italian restaurant in town. It has an inviting atmosphere well decorated and often playing period fitting music for such a venue. I have found the service to be good and I’ve enjoyed all the food I’ve purchased there in 3 meals. The chef comes around, the place has a touch of class, and it is located downtown. Much enjoyed and recommended for a nice lunch, dinner or date.

Service was great, basil soup and tiramisu were good. However I had this shrimp vegetable spinach fettuccini dish and it was terrible. The sauce and vegetables tasted and looked like it came from a can of soup. Their portions are giant and not worth leftovers.
