Food taste and quality were okay. Burger was a bit on the small side for the price. Texas toast became soaked and fell apart with all the toppings. Good selection of toppings and condiments for the burger takeout. Plenty fries. Sides were good size for the tilapia takeout. Very nice decor and clean inside.

Cozy, comfortable, and rustic atmosphere. Sat at the bar and enjoyed a steak burger, fries and few cold draught beers. Menu has plenty of options at various price points, and had a nice looking salad bar. A good place to stop in Marshfield for a sit down dining experience that is a local business and isn’t a chain.

The food we had was mostly good, the lemon pepper grilled chicken and green beans were great. The meat they put on a loaded baked potato looked and tasted like ham, yuck. My son loved his burger, husband was not impressed with his. Our biggest concern was our waitress picking up glasses to refill by putting her fingers inside the glass, SO unsanitary and should be common sense to not stick your fingers in a customers glass. They were the same glasses because the straws were still in them.

We met some friends for dinner (6) on a Friday night, and it was packed. I expected a long wait for our food but we got our food in less than 20 min..

Let me just start out with our server did the best she could, I didn’t catch her name but she’s the one with glasses. Waited 30 minutes on a beer, and when I received it it was green (St. Patty’s Day). I didn’t mind at all, but a heads up would have been nice. The older lady that brought it out called it out to the restaurant and I didn’t realize it was my drink, then dropped it off and immediately went to the table next to ours and bad mouthed us, due to the shocked look on my face. You’d figure local food means friendly people, not the case. Appetizer was cold spinach dip with stale chips. The burger wasn’t bad, but cold. Along with the “steak fries” that were cold as well that along with them being very lightly seasoned and dry. We won’t be going back at all. Thank you again to the server that was trying.

If I could give this place less than one star I would. When me and my husband first got there it took the waitress 20 min just to come over so we could order our drinks. Then we put in our food order. While waiting for our food the waitress was right by our table talking to another waitress badly about another customer. When she brought our our food I was shocked. The onion wasn’t even cooked all the way through. My burger looked like it had been picked out the trash. And my husband’s steak had so much season salt on it he couldn’t eat it it was so salty. When we called the owner over he wanted to argue saying they don’t season their meat so my husband took his fork and scraped the top of his steak to show him it had seasoning on it. And instead of the owner trying to fix it he just said next time u come in I’ll give u a beer…and still wanted us to pay $80 for our food that we didn’t even eat.

Very nice rustic decor. Tons of wait staff, friendly and fast. Deep fryer must be a little cold because fries and bear paw (blooming onion) were soggy. Texas toast is nice for burgers but it was floppy instead of toasted. Burgers were cooked to well done even after asking what temps we wanted. Still it is nice to have a restaurant with beers and a full bar in Marshfield. Will give it another try to see how it goes.

Wait staff hardly talked to us, my (loaded fried) were cold ham and cold cheese. My chicken sandwich was cold. There was no flavor to the Alfredo sauce. My fries were cold. Only thing good I had was Marinara sauce and my coke. 10/10 don’t recommend. I could have went to McDonald’s and had better and more flavorful food for half the price. Way to expensive for the quality.

Ordered a 32$ KC Strip Steak, medium. The outside of the steak was crunchy, and coated in charcoal. Had to cover it in A1 to resemble a decent meal. Friend of mine ordered a 25$ Sirloin and had the same issue. Cost of Texas Roadhouse, quality of Burger King.

After waiting over an hour for food, with 8 tables in there.. there was no apology for the wait or comp of any sort. Food came out over cooked and cold. Ate it and left unhappy, probably be another hour if we were to send it back. Took a glance at the salad bar to see if we were interest, the lettuce was turning brown. Will not be going back, what a waste of a beautiful space!
