Came for buffet night and the pizza was hard which makes me feel like it has been sitting there for awhile. Had to ask and wait 25 mins for more pizza and bread sticks. At first they wouldn’t even change the nasty pizza until there was 2 pieces or less. The young kids in the kitchen doesn’t care about the customers. Buffets are supposed to be ready to go and stocked. This used to be a good place but not anymore. Very disappointed!

We stopped in at Pizza den this evening at about 6:05 pm. There weren’t too many people when we arrived. The waitress took our drink order and our appetizer order at about 6:15. The drinks are at the table pretty quick. We wait patiently for 30 minutes… No appetizer no waitress. Finally we flag her down and ask if the bread sticks are ready she said no they are super busy! So finally after 40 minutes the bread sticks come out. We eat them and wait for her to stop by for our order. Finally we flag her down again and ask if we can put in our order. She says she needs to get her order pad. She comes back and takes the order. Two sandwiches. We wait.. and wait… And wait… And wait…. Finally the sandwiches come out and the bread is so hard you can’t even bite through them. They explain it’s because they are super busy. So again I wait for my sandwich… And wait and wait. Now it’s an hour and a half we have been here! Finally the replacement sandwich comes out and we ask for a box. Almost TWO HOURS SPENT HERE! I worked all day and wanted to go out for a quick bite to eat. I could have made a meal at home in the amount of time we waited for food. Unfortunately I overheard other customers that had problems with their orders this evening as well. Needless to say they lost a customer.

My husband and I go to Pizza Den often. Close to home, good food, good atmosphere. This is not fine dining, but rather more home cooking, pub food, the food has always been good … Breadsticks might be the best in the state of Indiana!. We have never had a bad experience at this restaurant. The staff, just excellent, especially Anna. Everyone hustles, works hard, are friendly and kind. That alone is worth a lot! Thanks

Yeah I don’t understand why they keep trying really. I go in there last night and I asked for a menu and they tell me they don’t have one. And pretty much that was the end of that story I went looking online and there’s all these deleted menus. So I guess I have all day to figure out what you people sell. You don’t have a menu inside A-frame anywhere in the store you don’t have anything written down anywhere you don’t have anything you can point at your aren’t even trying. I guess they honestly expect people to just walk in there and just automatically just know what they serve. Like every single freaking Okie from Muskogee that goes in there has the menu memorized or orders the same thing every time. I don’t know what their problem is. Is extremely difficult to do business with these people. They honestly expect you to live like right next door and have the menu memorized. Like every single person they meet is from out here and dates their sister or whatever.

It was nothing short of AMAZING every time i’ve went there. They employ young high school students who in fact work very hard, every time i order whether i’m picking it up or having it delivered i get amazing service, and when things are messed up, they are always quick to fix it and are always glad to make things right. The boss treats the kids very reasonable which i know doesn’t mean anything about the food, but i love supporting a place that not only makes good food and has good service, but has a caring management too, if you’re ever at the lake, i highly recvomend you stop by and get some breadstick, you won’t regret it!

I ordered delivery from this place and not only did it take an hour and a half for my food to get here but they messed up my order and brought me half of what I asked for then when I told them the problem They made me feel like I was in the wrong then charged me another delivery fee to Get what I originally asked for not only that but when I gave the delivery driver my money she did not give me the correct change and when I called to tell her the problem she called me a liar to my face. Needless to say this is a place ran by a deranged woman and her daughters and brand new employees every day. Now because they messed and I Called and complained I’m not allowed to go there anymore. This place is nothing but petty.

This out of the way small resteraunt is really good. The breadsticks are the real deal. Light and fluffy. The service here is friendly and genuine. I highly recommend this place if you are looking for a pizza that isnt made from a major chain.

2 stars because the food was good. Service was very shotty and we waited for 25 minutes to get bread sticks and then another 30 to get the pizza itself. Food is good but not worth that long of a wait, won’t be visiting for a while in hopes of the place being better with service and quicker with the food.

Used to be the go to spot in the lake … dated meals, furniture, and decor have made the the “once was” instead of the “still is”. That being said, there is no place that contends with the price and location of this evening hangout pizza place. Anna is a great hostess and makes the dine in experience enjoyable.
