Bonfire’s menu is a spin-off of classic American style cuisine, with a slight twist. We offer dishes such as Montana Farmer’s Bolognese, a delicious Lookin Gouda burger, Asian Rainbow Trout, Korean Fried Chicken and even menu items for the more adventurous soul like our Moroccan Lamb Meatballs!
Our cocktail bar features local Montana craft beer and a craft cocktail menu utilizing spirits from one of Montana’s amazing distilleries.

In recent years, I’ve had great food, and even better service at Bonfire. Now, for whatever reason, this establishment has taken a major dive downward. After a few shaky experiences this Summer, I’ve finally reached my breaking point after what occurred to me last night. For starters, my burger tasted like fish (which means they are cross contaminating food, and not cleaning their grill properly) and I could only stomach two bites before I knew something was wrong with it. When my girlfriend mentioned it to the server, she told me it was because of the “caramelized onions” and walked away. The only time she came back was when she gave us the bill for the night. Another person in the restaurant shared the same experience as me and we were never offered another burger or even another meal to substitute for our fishy burgers… I left hungry and I felt ripped off for having to pay for an unsanitary burger. The only reason I’m not leaving one star is because of the wonderful experiences I’ve shared here in past. I know the owner, and she WOULD NOT put up with this kind of food or service. Hopefully she starts reading all these recent bad reviews. Be better Bonfire!!!

To start, my Korean fried chicken was exceptional and my wife’s salad was just what she was looking for…unfortunately, the service was quite possibly the worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant. Being summer time, I’d understand if the service was tough due to the business level and season…this was not the case. The bartenders attitude was extremely poor and this seemed to have a very negative effect on the other two servers. Very disappointing, and it could have been corrected if an owner would have witnessed just 5 minutes of this behavior.

My husband and I went here on our honeymoon! The food was amazing. I got the Cajun pasta and I am from Louisiana so I am qualified to judge. Highly recommend it. The drinks were amazing too. Even better than that was the service. Our waiter went above and beyond to make our visit exceptional! I highly recommend the Montana Bonfire to anyone near by! The atmosphere was really nice too. Loved the decor and music.

Ordered Thai something wings as a quick snack. Seriously the worst wings I’ve ever eaten. A dry powdered coating and no seasoning. We didn’t eat them. I’ve loved this place in the past.

I recently went to this restaurant and my experience was awful, it took a while to be greeted and seated once arriving and the food was over cooked beyond belief. The brussel sprouts and fried chicken appetizers were bland and over cooked. The trout entree was way over cooked. The atmosphere was decent but I would not recommend this place as it gave me food poisoning which resulted me in missing the birth of my cows first calf. Would not recommend this place to anyone.

I was honestly really impressed with this place. The atmosphere is really neat – there’s a bar or you can sit at the community tables. The entrees had huge portions. The first night I had the brisket and my husband had the fried Korean chicken. Both very delicious but we couldn’t finish either of our meals. The next night we ordered the Carbonara and two sides (mashed potatoes- best I have had and brussel sprouts). It was perfect amount of food for two people! The Carbonara was absolutely amazing! I highly recommend. I also had the huckleberry 75, which was also yummy. The service the second night was great compared to the first (for some reason, we had two waitresses). Loved this place!

Best experience dining I’ve had in a while. Food was delicious! Our waitress Arista was VERY attentive, and pleasant! I wasn’t happy with my drink choice and she was able to get me something based on the taste I wanted.! Highly recommend this restaurant, great dining and atmosphere!
