At our Princeton, KY location, we are part of a historic seafood tradition. Captain D’s Seafood Restaurant first opened its doors back on August 15, 1969. A lot has changed since then, but our commitment to serving freshly prepared seafood at a great value has been our core mission from the beginning. Known originally as Mr. D’s Seafood and Hamburgers, Captain D’s was opened in Donelson, Tennessee. From the very start, we set out to provide quality seafood at reasonable prices, a concept that was revolutionary at the time.

I placed and paid for my order. Then was told they were out of one item I paid for. Was refunded item price but not the tax I paid on it. Waited an extraordinarily long time for the food. Then was yold they were out of forks till tomorrow. Floor was sticky. Will never go there again!

My family and I are visiting from out of town. We went the drive through with only 2 cars ahead of us. We did get to place our order BUT, We waited a good 10 minutes and the first vehicle still hadn’t received their order. The car in front of us pulled out just as we were. There is no reason to have to wait that long at a fast food restaurant, especially paying those high prices!

Stopped here on a road trip for some lunch. The staff was super nice, the service was fast and my food was hot and fresh. I’m not a huge fan of hush puppies but theirs were soft and delicious! who could ask for anything more?

I pulled up and 3 of the help are standing outside smoking and are just really fat except for a skinny kitchen boy. I walk in and wait a good minute. No one in the store. The 3 stooges come in with the fat girl talking to the drive thru to repeat their order. If they were at their post they would not have wasted that time. Fat girl sys it was going to a minute. I didn’t trust her or their cleanliness. Pure trash. This place is hit and miss. It is in a serious miss situation now.
