The BBQ is high quality. Try the beef brisket – absolutely amazing, or the pulled pork. Very affordable and the portions are generous. The owners serve up the food and are extremely friendly and accommodating. The outdoor seating is simple picnic tables right on a busy street, so that’s why the 3 stars for Atmosphere.

We had a pulled pork sandwich, a brisket plate, with sides of potato salad and cole slaw. We found the pork sandwich to be a very satisfying meal by itself. It was moist, slathered in sauce, and topped with pickle and jalapeno slices. The brisket serving also a full meal of thick-cut fork-tender meat. I feel like the sauce was required to keep it moist for chewing and swallowing. The bark / smoke ring was thin and not especially flavorful, but made for a nice smoky belch. The Cole slaw was fresh, crunchy, and refreshing. The potato salad is very good; among the best I ever had.

Fall off the bones, delicious and tender meat! I visited two days in a row, and the food was consistent! The first day my side was homemade coleslaw, refreshing and not overly sweet. The second day, I had the beans, cooked perfectly and very flavorful! I opted to skip the bread offered.

Best BBQ joint on the peninsula! Down to earth, family-friendly place. You’re missing out if you don’t go here at least once during a visit to PT. If you’re looking for food in the AM stop in for their breakfast tacos with brisket or chorizo!

This place was so good!! The smoke on the meat was excellent! We got the 3 meat plate with beans on the side- the beans were nice and meaty, the brisket was cut really well (thick enough, but not too thick), the chicken was delicious!! It was perfect for two!

The BBQ is pretty good, but we thought it was expensive. We got the BBQ plate, comes with a piece of sandwich bread, a side (ice cream scoop of Mac & cheese for me), and a portion of pulled pork, maybe 4-6 ounces? With a can of coke, that was $20. I’ve had much better value at other BBQ joints and it just wasn’t as good as those other places. Outdoor seating only, limited parking, weird hours, but open at lunch.

We had a 40 person graduation party. We got the pulled pork, coleslaw, beans and all the trimmings. It was delicious. The service was spectacular. I highly recommend, made the party so much easier to prepare.

Let me start by saying Semper Fi to my brother Mike. I had his bbq last night which was 3 meat plate(spicy sausage, brisket, and chicken) and all were outstanding. Had all the sides as well(coleslaw, ranch beans, mac&cheese, and potato salad) and these were great with the standout being the potato salad. Today for lunch I had the texas chili, jalapeño Cheddar corn bread, pork belly burnt ends, and again the potato salad finishing it with a Pecan pie bar that was to die for. Love that stuff. Everything was fantastic. Great job to Mike and his staff of hard workers behind the scenes. I’ll be back.
