It’s Popeyes. The spicy chicken sandwiches are the best thing on the menu. But, can be hella slow. Even if only a couple cars ahead of you, count on at least a 5-10 minute wait if not longer.

This location is honestly hit or miss depending whose working but since under new management sadly it seems to be going down. I love the chicken sandwich and Tuesday 2 peice deal but lately they are making constant mistakes and staff is just goofing around chatting joking and not taking orders correctly. Many times repeating yourself and many mistakes even after confirming your order. They often don’t give receipt unless you ask so please check your order is correct before leaving. The interactions between employees seems tense and everyone seems lost. I’ve noticed alot of new people so maybe just training hurdles their facing and hopefully they will get things smoothed out. Theres always a wait so don’t expect to get your food fast, be patient and kind.

I wish I was making this up. I ordered online for the $12.00 2 can dine with spicy chicken tenders and 2 sides. I have had problems with consistency with this location but this takes the cake. My delivery arrives and all that was in the bags was 4 boxes of fries. No chicken to be seen. I have tried calling their store but no answer or response. I would have rather the store call me ahead and tell me they cannot fulfill the order versus doing this.

We were excited to try their chicken sandwiches. The Classic was pretty good, but the Combo was really overpriced and they forgot to include the biscuit. $6 extra dollars for a small drink and cole slaw was ridiculous. Did not really enjoy the spicy chicken sandwich either, nor our upset tummies that followed.

First off…I love Popeyes chicken! The location near Scott and Monroe is close to home. Food is always hot. This particular one is the only “go to” spot because the one on Homestead closed. If you’re ok with lousy “please tell me what you want and leave so I can get back to looking for another job” service, then you’ll be fine waiting for your order. Yes, as usual my wife wasn’t ready when it was our turn to order. I gave her a chance to contemplate what she wanted to modify while I started ordering what I knew we wanted. When I turned to her and asked “have you decided what else you wanted?” The cashier rolled his eyes with a deep breath and darted off. In his defense it appeared he was also running the drive thru. But he just left without a word and was gone for a few minutes. This annoying service is routine at this location. So, Love the food, hate the service.
