The food was very flavorful. I was surprised they only give you one corn tortilla with the taco. It has lots of meat and is enough to make two tacos. The Margarita was tasty. I like the fact that is comes in a short glass and not diluted down with Margarita mix. CS was phenomenal. Our server was very knowledgeable with the menu. Great environment. Make reservations. I found a hidden gem not very far from home, reasonably priced with great food! It’s a win win

First of all, I need to say that this place has the best tortillas I have had anywhere so far! After I felt that, I checked on their website and apparently Nixta has been trying to provide a more authentic tortilla experience. I can say for a fact that it is working. Simply amazing.

LOVE IT <3 A blend of flavors and textures hard to find elsewhere in the twin cites. I'm glad they finally have a dine in restaurant after being takeout only for what seemed to be ages. They are planning on adding a breakfast/brunch menu in the future. I cannot wait to get my hands on their bollilo again! Restaurant is clean an minimal. Wasn't packed when I went so my friend and I could hear each other talking, but I can see this becoming a problem when it gets more popular. Portion sizes are kinda small - they leave you feeling satisfied but not full.

My partner and I have been planning to visit Oro by Nixta since it opened. It’s a bit of a drive for us, but we finally made it there today. It was my partner’s birthday, and we decided to take a gamble and do a walk-in at 4 pm when they opened. The gamble paid off, and they graciously ushered us to a table for two.

They were able to seat a walk in party of two right at opening. Online there were no open reservations, but only six seats of about 50 total were occupied while I was there. The horchata and jamaica were delicious and nuanced, though both much too sweet for me. Food highlight was the aguachile, with beautifully poached shrimp. The bok choy tacos were cumbersome to eat, and the sweet potato tacos seemed like they would be better served hot rather than a tepid warm. Biggest flop was the Mahi Mahi tacos: the bit of fish used got so overcooked, probably because it was an end piece of fillet and much thinner on one side, that I struggled to bite through it. Had it been served with a bit more care and attention I think that would be a real winner, especially with the peach pico served on top.

The food was outstanding.. I mean shockingly so. The staff were really genuine people and bussed our dishes throughout the meal. I liked the building and seating arrangement but they deserve a larger space. Everyone should be talking about this place. I’m going back soon and telling my friends, family, and coworkers about it too.

This place was incredible. The flavors and food combinations were amazing and the service makes you feel like family. I loved the guac and dips, the pork belly with pineapple was soo good, the tacos, and I tried this chocolate dessert that was unlike anything I’ve ever had and was great! Ps- the art work and the bathroom were awesome and unexpected. Love it and I will definitely be making this a regular stop.
