The service was great, very warm and friendly. Nice old school family business atmosphere. Was my first time visiting and sorry to say I was very disappointed with the food. Pastelillos were over cooked, had one with only a small spoon full of beef and was nothing but hard dough, rice and beans were under cooked and flavor overall with the food was fair. However the desert was very enjoyable. Sorry, that was my first and last time.

I think the food was good it was very tasty the pernil (spanish pork shoulder) was a bit fatty but what meat there was was really good. The person taking the order had a hard time understanding me a patron had to help me out but did eventually get it. I think their menu is a bit unclear and convoluted and could use some updating or clarification but other than that it works. It’s a humble little place you can eat at but it was clean I only wish they didn’t have such short hours at this current time it seems they’re only open two or three days and not on weekends. I plan on coming again maybe I’ll change my review if it’s better then otherwise it’s still a great place.

OMG. The food is delicious. Ordered the pernil and the guineo escabeche. Plus took an order to go of carne guisada & yellow rice. The husband and wife team are awesome. They chatted up a storm with us!

Food was absolutely delicious, but when getting the rice and beans, and beefstew dinner, please use plastic wrap to wrap the containers. When I got home, there was juice from the beef stew all over my seat in my car, and spilled all over in the bag.

I grew up in Lorain but have lived in Idaho for many years. I came back to visit last week and this was one of my first stops. I’ve been eager to try it since following the FB page and seeing good reviews. We loved every item we tried! Excellent and we can’t wait to come back.
