When I first walked in I was warmly greeted by the owner himself. The place was buzzing so I knew the food would be good…it was exceptional! It accommodates both indoor and outdoor seating with a cozy atmosphere from the initial ding of the doorbell. Make time to chat and learn about his mom from Japan and don’t forget to order the sweet tea. It’s the best I ever had! Definitely the place for lunch when visiting Laurinburg!

We went here without reading the reviews. I am not surprised to learn it is so well-rated. The food was amazing. The Caesar chicken salad had some of the most tender chicken I’ve ever had. The kids’ meal burger was huge, and after my daughter stole my salad, I ate her kids meal, and it was SO good.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted with a smile and absolutely great customer service. After we were seated they were very attentive to all of our needs and requests…. The food was exceptionally good and way above what is expected of a small diner. We will highly recommend this place to all of our friends and we’ll make it a frequent stop whenever traveling down highway 74.

Came for lunch and they were out of the only 2 items on the menu I wanted on their already very limited lunch menu. Very disappointed. Ive had the teriyaki bowl before and it was decent. The meat was good but the rice was really hard and parts of it were inedible.

My husband and I were in Laurinburg visiting his family a couple of weeks ago when we visited the restaurant. Hubby happens to be old friends with the owner. We went around 2 and we were happy it wasn’t crowded. We waited about a min before someone came out to greet us and they were ok with us picking our seating. We got a table in the corner by the window b/c it was away from the other tables. We’re still in Covid so we’ve been trying to be careful when we do eat out.

Im gonna come back and give a review after i actually eat the food but im gonna start with customer service…. For this area, EXCEPTIONAL. She greeted me pleasantly, walked me thru the menu, and made good recommendations. I just relocated to the area and I have really been looking for some good food. The place smelled great and the nice dem lighting would make for a pleasant date night. Just a day thru town and I should have stayed and ate but I am gonna head home and sit in front of a good movie and try this philly cheesesteak sub, side salad, and my teriyaki bowl is for later. Thankyou again just for the pleasant greeting and service.

Had lunch here yesterday and it was very good. Visiting my home town for the first time in about a year and a half, yep Covid-19. A high school friend opened the restaurant, so I had to check it out. Had the Pig Pickin’ with fries and a side salad, with chocolate cake. My wife had broccoli & cheddar soup, chef’s salad and coconut cake. Everything was well prepared, delicious and portions were generous. I was so pleased that I ordered the broccoli soup and coconut cake to go. Fore’s follows CDC recommendations regarding masks and social distancing. The staff was friendly, informative and made you feel like one of the family. If you are ever passing through, or even near by, stop in and grab a bite of great NC food and down-home atmosphere. Support this great family spot and my friend Kenny Fore and the staff at Fore’s Family Restaurant. It is worth every penny.

So because of work I find myself in Laurinburg North Carolina and I happened upon this place to eat lunch. Restaurant was incredibly clean and attractive the staff was friendly and attentive. Food came out quickly it was plentiful and very tasty. I would gladly eat here again if the opportunity presented itself.
