We had the chance to eat outside (but we had to wait a little more for this place). Food was good, service was quick. The soupe was really excellent and bacon was awesome. The homemade ice cream dessert was delicious!

The famous Woody Creek Tavern, nice to step in at the end of a bike ride from Aspen on the Rio Grande trail. It is a more expensive and posh than it used to be pre-pandemic. Starting around noon there are a lot of people and you can expect some wait, so better arrive before noon.

Food and atmosphere was 100% 5 stars, as was our waitress, Pamela! The host seemed annoyed and was not friendly at all. I’d go back in a heartbeat though. My chicken enchiladas were delicious and my friend loved the trout!

Great spot that we bike too every time we visit Aspen. Crazy busy this time with a private function but waited in the picnic area for 20 minutes till we got seated at a table for 10. The bicycle parking area ( for about 200) was almost completely full when we arrived, but when we left, had thinned out. Parking for cars is a little limited. It’s a great spot

Super cool place with a very unique setting. I got the famous burger, while my fiance got the lamb stew, which was under the radar the best thing on the menu. The burger was great, but the lamb stew was even better. Follow my Google profile for more reviews!

Getting to Woody Creek Tavern is a trip. The road is not Independence Pass. But its twisty, turny. You cross a tiny bridge across the Roaring Fork River. But that’s half the charm, right?
