I had the Texas Trinity with Brisket Beans as the side. The ribs and sausage we good. The brisket was dry and the sauce is average. The brisket beans are amazing. The spot is nice with a cute patio. We sat inside and still had to fight flies. I don’t blame them for that, it’s just Texas and 109 outside. Everything living is trying to keep cool.

This place is delicious. I chose this over hard 8, which i had before and i was so happy i did. We tried the ribs, brisket, burnt end bacon, chicken, a brisket corn bread, elote, slaw and beans with brisket. So great! I highly recommend

Went on a Saturday afternoon and had the 1,2 or 3 meat plate. Picked the ribs were good and tender, the sausage was spicy, it was infused with cheese, that made it pleasantly different, and the brisket was tender but nothing to write home about. Sauce was average. Had two sides, 1st was the potato salad, which was good, and the 2nd was tater tot casserole, which was also different but ok.

Overall this place was great. The parking lot is small and slightly congested. There is enough seating inside for about twenty people tops. They have a cashier where you place your order and your name is called to come collect your food if they do not remember who ordered what. We ordered the trinity. We also tried the loaded tater tots, which were more like hash or casserole. The Mac and cheese was flavorful. The brisket was delish. I would not recommend the banana pudding, as it was literally just pudding. The cornbread had good flavor but did not stay together.

Absolutely killer Cue conveniently located in the Hospital District but be ready to shell out some coin. At $30/lb this brisket ain’t cheap but it damn sure is delicious!

Tried a little bit of everything. Pulled pork with pimento cheese (sandwich) sounds weird, but it’s bomb! Brisket corn bread is amazing with the honey on top and the brisket beans have the best flavor! We will be back. Just get there early, very limited seating unless you sit outside. It was too cold !

Y’all need this place in your lives! The staff was super nice and helpful. I don’t know the man’s name but he’s the Green Bay fan. He told his favorite protein was the bacon burnt ends so I tried them. They did not disappoint. Yum yum. The brisket was moist and had a great rub on it. The pork rib was very lovely too. I wanted beef ribs but those are only on the weekend.

Simply put, this is the best BBQ we have ever had. While nothing prepares you for how good it is, we were not surprised because we have heard of Hurtados for years. What was unexpected was how my family with small children and a few days later my employees got treated. This place is not hurting for business and they don’t need any more reviews. However, this was not how Allan, the Manager, acted on either occasions. Allen acted like this was his personal kitchen and that he cared deeply how the experience went for everyone in the place. He treated us all with such great humility and care that it was amazing. During two busy times, he was so professional in the back and so personable to the customers that it was truly something to watch. Thank you Allan, our tribe will definitely be back soon. One admonition to Hurtado’s though, repent of your decision to only sell Banana Pudding in those stupid mini-serving crusts. It’s a crime. It needs to be sold by the gallon only.

Hurtado Barbecue made the top 50 BBQ Joints in Texas so I visited the Fort Worth location when I was in the area. I wasn’t super hungry so I ordered the bacon burnt ends with fresh homemade tortillas and the tater tot casserole. Great flavors! The Arlington location is larger and more crowded from what I’ve been told.
