First, let me say this isn’t the first time I’ve been to a dickies first time I’ve been to one that served some kind of pressed chicken loaf as barbecue chicken! The Turkey was so dry no amount of BBQ sauce made it palatable. The brisket was just ok, the BBQ beans were bland and the baked potato casserole was just mashed potatoes. The only thing that was at all edible was the coleslaw.

Dickeys used to the spot growing up. Sadly not anymore. I have been very unsatisfied with my past visits, most recently being this location. My chopped beef sandwich was OK, lots of fat even when I asked for lean. The turkey was just a block of deli meat chopped up and served. I will not be giving anymore chances.

Please train the staff on the menu and daily specials. I was in today and ordered one of the daily specials and was informed it included a side and a drink by the order taker. When I got to checkout, lady said side was extra and I said OK, I don’t want it. She said I had to buy it, I refused but I had to stand there and keep refusing until she finally relented. Unbelievable.

I get the Dickey’s email for 20% off, go through the drive-through order a bunch of food, get to window, and they won’t accept it….gotta order online. Online doesn’t offer some of the stuff that the box-store has, like corn or daily specials. By this time, I’ve already wasted 30 minutes and no light at the end of the tunnel. Naomi keeps telling me to move out of the way, and Luz the Mgr is not on sight. Ummm, plenty of BBQ places in Texas to go to that would love my business, just not Dickey’s.

Please regulate your food items often and make sure they’re not expired and up to date. I ordered turkey for lunch and it was slimy and tasted strongly sour and the french fries tasted like old rotten potatoes. Normally the food is great, but today must’ve been an off day.

Dragons Fire
Went in to Dickeys to get some brisket and okra today. This is a normal stop for me once a week. They are consistently great in both food and service. Found out that kids can eat free on Sunday as well (see conditions) so I may stop in on Sundays more often now. That means my two kids get both free meals and free icecream for dessert. I cant beat that offer. Bathrooms are clean and service is fast. Enjoy!
