Steve had a dream to open a food business! He did, despite his detractors! Upon ordering at his food truck in front of the Eskimo Hut on Sunset Blvd, (Corner of Sunset and Alice off University Dr.) I took the time to get to know him, as he was preparing our food. Now you have the privilege to taste food that only your Mom would take such care in making! We had the Chubby with two huge loaded baked potatoes, two large smoked ribs and two brisket tacos! Awesome food, awesome service! And the portion size is something to be beheld!

Been looking forward to trying Chubz Spudz, and today was the day. It did not disappoint. Best BBQ I’ve had in a very long time. Brisket tacos are on another level. The potato is as big as your head with a TON of brisket and toppings. The sauce is delicious. Husband said ribs were fantastic. Portions were huge – I’ll be enjoying leftovers this week. Owner has a passion for cooking, and you can tell in each and every bite. His food truck is super clean/well taken care of, and his smoker was busy smoking up more delicious eats. If you haven’t tried it, you are missing out. Will definitely be going back to support this small, local business. BIG FAN!!

This food was so amazing and edible! I’ve never tasted a potato as great as this one!!! Now this is what I call a good spud. 10/10 and it got me full I ate it all by myself. I ordered the chubby deal and let me tell you, this did NOT disappoint. The ribs were flavorful and falling off the bone, the brisket tacos were actually full of brisket and the toppings on those were delicious, and that potato is just spectacular. I really like the bigger cuts of green onion so you can actually taste it. There’s for sure enough food here for 2 people to eat and get full. I will be back!

Dude. So freaking good!!! I ordered 2 brisket sandwiches, the hot links, and the 2 brisket tacos w/ a brisket hot dog. Should’ve ordered some chicken just so i could give a full review but the sandwiches were so meaty and so good! i didn’t even have to add bbq sauce and the hot links were perfect. I didn’t get to eat the tacos because of the sheer amount of meat on the sandwiches but MAN. this place is the bomb. been living in denton for years and can’t believe this has been here this whole time 10/10
