Thank you to Carmen’s for helping a family out in a time of great need. Carmen’s restaurant and family helped cater food for our grandmother’s funeral when the other caterer fell through. She and her family were soo thoughtful and kind. We will never forget what they did for us. We wish this restaurant nothing but the best and the family that owns it.

Honestly really good. There are some unique menu items like the carnitas fries that are to die for. The crispy chili relleno was decent and their salsa is top notch. I went here about 15 years ago and the quality was similar, great job.

Carman’s was as good as ever. I have never had a bad meal there or less than fine service. I ate there often when I lived in Los Animas. Now everytime I come up to see my son and his family, we have to go to Carmans.

February 2020 stopped here on a crappie fishing trip. It’s family owned extremely nice woman who owns and runs it. Proud military family. That said amazing service and people aside. I’ve been cooking for 15 years and have been a professional chef for seven.

I would love to give this restaurant a 4 or a 5, but I have to land on 3 simply because of consistency issues. When it’s good, it’s great, but I’ve had several experiences both dining in and eating out where food has been poorly seasoned, overcooked and/or lukewarm. I’d still recommend!
