Luiggis Pizzeria in Lewiston, ME was founded on September 7, 1953 by Deputy Fire Chief Louis C. Talarico and his wife, Annis. It was run by the Talarico family for sixty years until August 2012 when the St. Hiliare/ Frenette family purchased it.
Luiggi’s Pizzeria is famous for their homemade meatballs, delicious sauce and a signature sandwich . . . The Fergy; named after the late Sgt. Arthur R. Ferguson. We are also known for having meat on all of it’s pizzas, unless otherwise requested.

The food matches it’s price points. I had to learn for myself any pasta dishes do not come with meat in the sauce. Felt like it was just pizza sauce poured over pasta. Staff was friendly, the dining room is small but good lighting and nicely decorated.

Pizza was bland and got actively worse the more I ate I don’t know why this is so highly rated and I don’t mean to be rude when I say that, I genuinely am confused. My standards might be too high but I don’t think so. Besides the disappointing pizza, everything was slightly dirty, the bathrooms were absolutely tiny and gross with no soap or toilet paper. Staff were understanding and patient which was good. Oh also, WAY overpriced.

Massive rip off on two LG chicken salad subs! Very Lil chicken salad in sub. With tax and ” Convenience fee” the cost was over 12 bucks ea. Will never order there again. Save your money and order somewhere else.

Pizza was good but online ordering was a mess. Ordered through the website and drove all the way there to find out they closed early at 8pm. Still charged my bank account so I called the next day to try and get a refund. They couldn’t figure out how to refund the order so we agreed to have them make the order so we could have it for lunch. On the way home opened the box and discovered one of the pizzas had the incorrect toppings as the online order.
