I visited Ernie’s crab house recently to purchase steamed blue crabs and snow crab legs. I contacted them a few days prior to place the order since it was for a large party. The staff was very friendly and the service was amazing. The crabs were GREAT! Everyone at the party ranted and raved about how good the crabs were. Very pleased and will be back!

We’re out of towners, visiting friends for a wedding. My local Lanham barber recommended this place, so my wife and I headed to Ernie’s. The man behind the counter was very cordial and honest. My wife loves scallops, so she asked him if the scallops were fresh scallops, he admitted that they were frozen scallops, I was pleasantly surprised at the man’s candor, anyone else would have just lie about it.

I like this place a lot. The staff is very friendly and makes it a point to get to know you and the community. Crabs are large and stuffed with a lot of meat. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because I ordered over the phone showed up 30 minutes later and the food was not ready. (I only order 1/2 lb. shrimp and 1 dozen of crabs). Had to wait 20 minutes for my food. Overall, good experience and the owner apologized for the tardiness. Very good customer service.
