There is a Ixtapa Restaurant in Florence that we eat at. Decided to try this one. We each had the Fajita lunch. Excellent. Plenty left over for the next nights meal.

The service was great. They were there but not overbearing or in your face. Really polite. I think the owner was the server for my table. Great food and the margaritas were pretty good too. I would definitely recommend going.

Chicken fajita salads are typically chicken fajita meat with other ingredients like lettuce and tomato as well as beans (on occasion). I experienced the BEST fajita salad I have ever eaten (55 years from birth). They had the actual onions and peppers grilled with the chicken meat (which was very tender and tasty) on top of the cheese, lettuce and tomatoes. So good!!! I wish we weren’t just passing through! Note: if you don’t like chunky salsa with tomatoes or a creme sauce with tomatoes, be sure to ask or check the menu. The margarita on special was meh…it didn’t have much flavor in my opinion. Everything else was AMAZING!!!

Happy atmosphere! Hernan was our main server. He was very friendly. Food came out quick and servings were huge! Price per plate makes since ($12-$18 average) because it’s 2-3 meals! I had the taco bowl salad with chicken and my friend got the chicken fajitas, which she says are the best fajitas she’s had so far in our Mexican restaurant try outs in the area.

Some of the tastiest Mexican food I have had since moving up from Southern California. The best that I have experienced so far in the Eugene Metro area. My wife and I shared the Ixtapa favorite and fish taco plate, both were wonderful. On the Ixtapa favorite the shrimp and chicken were my favorites. I’m looking forward to coming back!
