Excellent food, attentive and helpful service, and the owner is amazing. He came to our table to see how our dinner was and when we asked if a certain wine was served by the glass he opened a bottle and gave us a glass even though it wasn’t part of the menu. So nice! Such a nice dining experience can be rare these days. Everyone at our table loved their dishes and the oil and herbs dip with the bread was incredible! We will definitely be going to Agrodolce Osteria on a regular basis!

Absolutely phenomenal meal and service. Each course was better than the next, top notch staff and beautiful atmosphere. One of the best places to dine in Berkeley, with a large (15+) group or just a few. Real Italian hospitality at its finest. Ask the story of the car parked in front, you won’t be disappointed. This is the kind of Sicilian magic that only happens when you have someone’s mom or grandma involved in the production or recipes, and a staff that is well treated, and experienced at what they do. I had been wanting to dine here for a while, but as I travel often I didn’t have the time. I was happy to see that they were open on a Tuesday.

very good – we had a reservation for a bigish party but you prob don’t need one. i had the campagnolo and it was great. good size portions too. for apps we had the burrata and calamari/fritti and both were great.
