I went here for dinner the day of my wedding, and we loved it! My husband liked the crab cake sandwich, and I am obsessed with the Cajun shrimp Alfredo. We ordered it again a few days later due to how much we enjoyed it. We are looking forward to being regulars. My only question would be in regards to Gil’s slogan, “unmasked good food.” We were both curious as to what this means, and why it is the slogan.

Ordered take out (1st and probably last time). Just wanted to try a local place got “baked steak and potatoes” and the portion for what I paid for is not worth it. It was 1 scoop of potatoes & about 6 slivers of meat. Fork is in the picture for size reference. Next time I’ll go to Als cafe. The waitress behind the bar was nice and the restaurant itself seems well maintained.

Food was good, no issues with service or staff. If I had to complain about anything it would be the fruit flys, but a lot of restaurants struggle with that. The zucchini ribbons were some of the best we’ve ever had and we split the Ruben and fries were really good.

The service was decent. The food was below average. My wife order the fried clams and they brought out what looked like a child’s portion. We talked to the waitress, who spoke to the kitchen. They apologized and said the cook didn’t open up enough frozen packages. They brought more out but they were noy even warm. The salad was wilted and not very cold. Will not be back. Find a better place to spend your money.

Walked into this establishment again at 10:30 AM. Once again I was treated very poorly on the greeting. It was awkward advised that they quit serving breakfast at 12 and that they will not be serving hashbrowns. It’s 10:30 AM and 12 is when they stop serving breakfast, and they have completely stopped a major component of a breakfast entrée, so I looked at their menu not much to speak of. I don’t know what the fuse is about their quality. I simply do not see it.

Rating should be like 3.5. The food is pretty basic stuff from what we ordered, the poutine was a little cool around the outside, but hot in the middle, so once you got into it, it was decent. The penne with vodka sauce and chicken was disappointing. The chicken was microwaved and put on the pasta, and the pasta itself and the sauce was luke warm similar to the poutine. The raw onion in the sauce was a little off putting as well. My partner had the shrimp Alfredo, and it was also Luke warm.
