China No. 1 is always our preferred Chinese restaurant. Great food, quick service, and reasonable prices! I love their ordering process with the small whiteboards. When you walk in, just look for the last 4 of your phone number on the small whiteboards, tell them the sign number (1,2,3,4 etc), pay and go! Very efficient and never more than a 20 minute wait. We have ordered chinese food from them for years and will definitely remain long-time customers!

There’s always a line around dinner time which is usually a good sign food is good. It’s good for a quick pick up order but nothing to write home about. Food is always fresh and hot. They use broccoli as a filler in many of their dishes. Little meat with load of broccoli. I like broccoli so it’s alright but, I always feel a little ripped off. The place, waiting area, is run down and pretty dirty. This is definately a No Frills eatery.

Just took in an order from this place on the recommendation of some people we know where we live ….I have to tell you it was all pretty bad! the bourbon chicken was no better than you would get in a food court in the mall… the pork lo mein was very dark I don’t know if it was too much soy sauce but it had very little flavor good pork lo mein should be a light noodles with fresh pork and very little sauce..The boneless ribs were OK but I’ve had much better we will definitely not be going back and we’re slowly facing up to the reality that there is just no good Chinese food in Vero
