This is what a real cafe breakfast should be like. All other area cafes should take notes! Food was outstanding along with the service and atmosphere. The restaurant is attached to a hardware store which only adds to the experience! Highly recommend and will definitely come back.

A delightful little place to stop in West Central MN lakes country. Dont be fooled by exterior appearances, which imply this may be a truck stop of some sort, there are great people providing a valuable service for this area. Great country fried steak, especially if you pay attention to the gravy! Service is friendly and everything is clean. Were I to offer a critique, I would say that the utensils felt rather cheap and uncomfortable to use, though I’m sure the local peoples would not notice. A fine place to stop.

Absolutely adore this place! The breakfast is just old fashioned goodness, the service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is pretty cool! Lots to look at, and it’s part of a store so you can shop afterwards. We ordered your typical breakfast fare, highly recommend the hash browns! Will make a point to go back whenever we’re in the area, prices are super reasonable too!

A lakes favorite! It does get busy but if you’re willing to wait the food is great. We went for breakfast and all had the omelets and they were great! staff is friendly and the food comes out quick!

It’s hard to go wrong here. The chef’s special omelette is great. The hash browns are crispy. Get a caramel roll to share while you wait on your food. And the French silk pie and lemon meringue pie go quickly. Baker’s Square or Perkin’s were Cornfield wannabes .
