Kona Grill is a shadow of it’s former self, barely trying while using low cost ingredients and hanging on to a legacy long past. The food was just average (and by average, I mean slightly better than Applebees), service okay, ambiance just whatever. Meatballs were passable. Sushi was gross. Salmon was salty and uninteresting. Dessert was uninspired grocery-store over-sugared disaster. If you want good sushi, go somewhere else – I’ve reviewed some great choices and some to avoid. If you want other food, there are also better choices – not sure what you are looking for but even PF Chang’s is better. Definitely lower experience than my expectations

We were sad to learn tonight that she is not a full time bar tender at this location. We hope to see her behind the bar more often! She had the best customer service.

Maybe if you go in person it’s a good experience. But if you are ordering online, first thing they will MAKE you (like a child) show them proof of you clicking “I received my order” not only do they require you to do that, they require you press the button in person while they watch to make sure you push it…. As if you’re coming in to get an order that you didn’t pay for already??? Like I would really know someone’s exact name, number and order and the time they ordered to know to walk in right when it’s ready and request the meal I ordered…. It’s absolutely insane. Then when you post reviews thru the app you ordered online with they start putting things in your food. I left a couple bad reviews complaining about their process and found this in my next burger….. THAT IS SO DISGUSTING AND THEY ARE PETTY. Be careful eating here as they will try to poison or put random objects in your food if you don’t agree with their process. Hope this helps someone in the future. I would come here everyday for lunch and they just lost a regular customer.

We sat on the indoor patio for Saturday brunch. The coffee was sublime, the mimosas were tangy and the spam was hot and juicy. Our waiter, Kenneth was kind and attentive. Highly recommend!

My boyfriend and I went back to Kona last night and had a blast! Live DJ every Thursday, great food and excellent service with reverse HH starting at 9pm. Ton and Dasia are the best bartenders! Old fashions and green tea shots for the win . The reason we go back is because of DJ Ton. Great music and personality!

We went for the Mother’s Day brunch. The menu said crab eggs Benedict and macadamia French toast. None of the orders had the ingredients. The eggs had no crab and the French toast had no macadamia and were so hard to bite. The names on the menu ate just to pretend.
