The best tacos i have ever had. Friendly and prompt service. Very reasonable prices. Diverse menu but i kept it simple with steak and chicken tacos. Fresh, hot, tasty…with killer salsa verde picante on the side to bring it on home. Next to Florida’s oldest (Bahi hut 1954) tiki bar so you can have a mai tai chaser if you like. And I like

AWFUL EXPERIENCE! I asked for no onion… specifically TWICE. And then they of course put extra onion on my tacos and then the rude lady at the window had the nerve to argue with me about it saying I didn’t order it correctly! Awful customer service. Not to mention it took them 25 minutes to put together 3 simple tacos. Never again will I come to this taco truck that sits outside of the golden host motel.

There is no doubt….this is the best Taco truck ever! The service is quick, even though the line is long at times! There is a reason for that! Hotel visitors, Bahi Hai Hut regulars, and locals watch the clock tick by waiting for them to park and open! A local go-to for sure!

Amazing food truck! The burrito is HUGE! We also ordered a couple tacos, gordita, and a quesadilla. They have seating outside and covered. The gordita is made out of a corn tortilla of some sorts. We didn’t care for that, because we don’t like corn tortillas much, but the rest was so good! Definitely a better choice over a normal chain Mexican restaurant.

This truck was posted up at my hotel, decided it was the easiest thing. Figured I’d be waiting a bit for my food, but it ended up being really quick. Kinda figured it would be so-so because it was random food truck tacos, I was wrong again. I asked what was good to get and he suggested the flour tortilla taco. This might be the best flour tortilla I’ve ever had. It just melts into the meat and becomes this awesome combination of soft tortilla and slightly spicy chorizo, fresh cilantro. The hot sauce they give along with the tacos far outpaced my tolerance for spice, but it was still tasty. Hope they’re still here tomorrow night, best taco I’ve had outside of Mexico

Seriously the best tacos in the area. Nice depth of flavor/seasoning on the meat, which was juicy and not dry. Great prices and friendly service. If you’re hungry you’re definitely going to want to order 5 or 6. Burritos are also tasty and they toast the tortilla, which is a nice touch. Highly recommend them – we’ll be going back for sure!

I knew from the moment I took the first bite of my Pastor Burrito, I would make this my regular spot. It’s honestly the best burrito I’ve had in a very long time. I genuinely enjoyed eating this burrito. The service by Gil was absolutely amazing. He brought the food out in a timely manner (we had a pretty big order), was very personable and friendly. I suggest you pass on Chipotle and help support this local business, it’s absolutely worth it. Thank you again for a great experience.

Good tacos but previously (about a month ago or less) an order of tacos was $3-$4 depending on chicken or steak and came with two… I just ordered the same as I always get and I was only given one taco.

El taco loco follows in the tradition of great mexican food trucks. When I lived in California the food trucks always had the best mexican food. El taco loco brings that tradition to Sarasota. If you see this brightly decorated El Día de Muertos art truck, and they are open, stop and eat. Want to add some spice, ask for their hot sauce. It’s not over the top hot but adds a nice flavor and a comfortable amount of heat. Service is great too and the folks who own and operate it are nice. *****

6 s!!! I’m from Chicago so I definitely know excellent street tacos and I can honestly put this place up there on the list with the elite! The flavor of the steak tacos with the white corn tortillas along with the Verde salsa was on point! So far its the best I’ve had here in Florida and I think I finally found my spot for tacos! I will be coming back to try more items on the menu. The lady at the counter was very nice and I was greeted right away after ringing the bell. I am already planning my next visit!
