Man this food is bomb! Right when I walked in the door the smell had my stomach growling! The food was delicious! I met the owner Joel and he was so friendly! From the Thrifty ice cream to the Ube dessert I was blown away! This is a Hawaiian and Filipino restaurant. This is a must try if you are in the area!

A fellow Yelper recommended me this place. She said if you like Filipino food, check out Kujo Eats, it’s not as salty. Very true, it’s not as salty. This place has potential, they just need more time to grow and perfect their dishes.

The food was very good and the plate was filled up ! You can literally share it easily with someone. My husband ordered a side of Lechon & he said it was delicious and they don’t skimp on the serving . Would definitely order food from here again. I enjoyed the Pancit and chicken adobo, yummy flavors. I didn’t get a picture of everything my husband ordered, but if you’re in the neighborhood definitely check them out .

Wow!!! Delicious genuine Filipino food!!! You can tell a lot of love went into making these Filipino dishes. Drive from North County Escondido to South County National Coty, which was worth the drive!!! Best tasty food ever!!! Salamant

This spot has become part of our family weekend practice when we visit our Mom in Chula Vista. Beyond the TASTY and FRESH Filipino food, the vibe of the space is casual and welcoming. Most of all, Joel and the crew do a great job of making you feel at home. You see this as multiple families and large groups come through. A nourishing space. Much appreciated! See you soon!

Kujo Eats, formerly known as Erlinda’s, is a place we frequent mainly for their delicious halo-halo, which is perfect for the summer season. The halo-halo was good and we ordered food as well, and they were good. I would rate this place 3 stars because of the server at the halo-halo station. He seemed visibly tired, and when I placed an order for five servings, he appeared annoyed, scratching the back of his head before making them. Despite the server’s demeanor, I decided to stay because I really wanted the halo-halo . I still left a tip in hopes that it might positively influence the service in the future.

Location has always been the spot for Halo-Halo and some good sisig, but it’s taken on a whole new vibe.

One of my favorite places to eat! The service is welcoming and friendly. All the food is delicious and well made from the Sisig, Pancit, Pork Adobo, Chicken Adobo, Sinigang, Dinuguan, Pinakbet, you name it! No complaints at all, and I hope to eat here for years to come 🙂 There’s a good ice cream spot inside as well.
