I hardly ever go up there anymore, but I used to spend about one week per year in Sandy Hook. The Penny Mart and Giovanni’s used to be my favorite places for lunch, and the Penny Mart was my favorite place for a fast lunch. I recently went back there again, and I had breakfast. The food was still good, not too expensive, and fast. And the staff was still very friendly.

I got a simple cheeseburger with curds. The burger nor cheese curds were the typical overly “bar food” greasy, they were scrumptious! The owner was very friendly and personable! I definitely will eat here again!
