I treated myself and my sister and her grandson to pizza for my Birthday. Pennfield Pizza was a childhood favorite and I still love it at 53 years old. I can always count on the pizza being exactly as I remembered it. Don’t ever change the recipe the crust is like no other in Battle Creek. Even when I was going to college in Indiana, I would request a half baked pizza to take with me back to college so I could finish baking it and eat it piping hot later that week. Love me some Pennfield Pizza!!!

The service was great. We spent almost 40 dollar’s. The Pizza and the Cheesesticks were so nasty that we threw them both in the trash. The crust was so hard that you couldn’t just take a bite. You had to literally cut it with a steak knife to be able to eat. That’s not what I call good pizza.

We are originally from Chicago so we are a bit of pizza snobs, with a few alterations, extra sauce, extra cheese, we feel that Pennfield does a good job making a great pizza. We usually get sausage, onion, green pepper. I get the gluten free crust on occasion and enjoy it as well.

We stayed the weekend for a floor hockey tournament and we got back to hotel late and not many pizza places were open that would deliver and many places understaffed and closed. We wanted a good pizza; And this was Amazing ! My 2 kids and wife and I all enjoyed the pizza and breadsticks were the best breadsticks any of us thought we ever had.

Only gave this place 1 star because the delivery guy was nice and their salad was decent. Pizza and colzone were SEVERELY undercooked and I called to complain and some man answered and told me “unlike other places with pre-made dough”…. I MEAN AT LEAST ITS BAKED FULLY!! he was no help and I resorted to Grubhub to get my money back for those items!

Never been disappointed with a pizza from here and the workers are always very friendly. I always ask for my pizzas well done and unlike most places trying to save on time, they take the extra 5 minutes to cook it to my liking EVERY SINGLE TIME. Pennfield pizza is one of my favorites in town because their crust is so different than anywhere else. It’s not necessarily the most flavorful crust ever, but you can pick up a piece of steaming hot pizza by the crust and it keeps its triangle pizza shape and doesn’t flop down and break off. In addition to the pizza- their location is convenient for me and generally it’s not too hard pulling in or out of there onto busy M-66. The inside has always been clean and I feel like the pricing is fair and worth it for the quality you get. I would highly recommend 10/10
