Had to try this chain since they switched it up from Richie’s. The chicken was good, but the coating is a little different, less crumbly crispy crunch and more flakey crispy crunchy if I remember correctly. The flavor was on point though. Same as I remember. The spicy was delicious as was the regular. I got 18 party wins which were teeny tiny and $18 for the meal with a tiny roll and a teeny tiny cup of yams and three potato wedges. Yams were delicious though, more mash than individual slices but good nonetheless! I will say the wings are much smaller than your standard wing, mayb 25% smaller, of course it depends on your supplier. I wouldn’t normally pay $21 for the meal for one that I just got especially at a to-go spot.

We asked for our chicken to be cooked to order, hoping that would insure good food, wrong. They asked me 3 times of I was “sure” I wanted it made to order, we were told it would take up to 40 mins, it took 25, potato wedges, were really under cooked, also our “fresh” chicken tasted like burnt rubber, u can’t even taste chicken, only burnt breading. It’s not edible.

We ordered from Ubereats and let me tell you, this was some of the BEST chicken we have ever had. The tenders were crunchy with the perfect amount of spice, the potato wedges has amazing flavor and were huge, and the smoked beans were out of this world. You could tell this food was cooked with love by someone’s mamaw. 15/10 will eat again!

Now we can use just drive-through. We got many chickens. They were very crispy and juicy. My favorite is Breast! Breast is my No,1 Chicken. Wedges were very big,a little bit spicy for me.

First visit and everything was fresh and hot and the young lady was very friendly. I must say that this restaurant is the best out of all of the others. My daughter will only eat here and we live across town. The food is always fresh and hot.I have never gotten anything that has been sitting under the heating lamp too long. The cashier are very friendly and there’s one young lady who works the window who is always so polite and friendly with a big smile. Thank you Grimes and all the workers for caring about your customer with great service and great food.
